First, let me say I don’t play poker and I have zero idea how this would be used during a game. And I don’t care. I got this because it was such a small, handsome piece. The shark looks so fierce, and its body is beautifully detailed. I have it on my desk at work just displayed and sometimes I use it as a paperweight. I think it would be awesome in any nautical themed setting, although I don’t have that them going on in my office. I just loved how detailed and fierce this is for such a little thing, and it gives me joy to see it while I’m working.

Mine is somewhat smoother and shinier than the product image, which I love. I can't help but pick it up and rub it, so it's probably only going to get shinier. Beyond gaming use, this is a lovely little shiny object for fans of ocean life, '70s Spielberg, or trinkets in general.

I got this shark shaped RUNNING HOT Poker Guard as a display piece rather than as a poker guard. It's a lot smoother than the image in the description shows. This does not detract from it's beauty. It's a nice weight, and stands up well. I'm quite pleased with it.
