Great texture, these hold their firmness when fully cooked so they’re great for falafel but maybe not as good as Goya would be for hummous. I also noticed these really do need a good 24 hour soak. You can speed it up a bit by initially soaking them in hot water before throwing them in the fridge and you can get away with an overnight soak. I noticed the soaking water gets really dark from these so I have been double rinsing them before adding the final boiling water. But overall for a staple food I eat basically every single day, it’s nice to be able to grab a massive box of them on Amazon

Bulk is where its at especially when you want to be prepared. This came well packaged. It is just that, 10 pounds of dried chick peas. I am satisfied of the product. Chick peas are so versatile, you can literally use them for such a variety of meals. I recommend.

I checked online how to cook dry chickpeas, and followed the instructions. The end result has been satisfactory. Very happy with the purchase!

Finally got a chance to eat some of these chickpeas the other night (had a small amount of prior stock to use up first). Made some fabulous hummus. Cooked up tender and creamy, perfect for this dish. Very pleased with this purchase.

We have birds and they love chickpeas. Our pionus was raised on chickpeas and our other two birds love them as well. Great product is cheaper than buying them by the can.
