New Tempered Glass Replacement Lids for Pans Pots and Casseroles (20cm)

Poorly made posing a health and safety issue when you're cooking! This lid came well-packaged but will the handle and screws off so that we had to fix it. No instructions were provided but it was no rocket science to put it together - in case we checked with how the other lids were made. Everything was fine until I put the lid over the pot whilst cooking soup. As I was trying to check if the soup was ready, I tried to lift the lid but it fell apart (probably under the heat), meaning that I burnt my fingers and the screws and the small metal plate (or whatever it's called), fell into the boiling water. Would never recommend it for anyone to purchase!

It seems fairly good quality for the money, knob comes separately and has to be screwed on, which is no hardship, but I'm returning it anyway as It's too large. However I have kept one of the two supposedly 18cm which again were nearly 20cm so this fits the saucepan originally bought for.

Nice product, and saved me throwing a saucepan away.

I'm very pleased with this product, it fits my 20" saucepan perfectly and for storage great too as shown in my photo. I would certainly recomend.

Glass good, seal between knob and glass not to good. you have to take knob off to dry underneath
