I love this CD. I am on Lesson 9 and I honestly believe that I am making great progress in learning conversational Spanish. You will learn phrases and words which are totally useful and every-day necessity. My only problem is that there is no text book with it. The CD jacket says you can download handbooks and materials from the maker of the CD (Audio-Novo) but when you try to go to their website, only the German language handbooks are downloadable. I'm OK with it because I speak a bit of German, but I still want this in English. The English version of Audio-Novo is no longer up and running. I actually had to use Google translate and look up each and every phrase for proper spelling and I am typing up my own handbook. It's fun and in a way you learn better spelling, but get ready that there is no English handbook that comes with this CD. Another thing is that this is not Latin American Spanish. You will be surprised hearing how they pronounce words in Spain that you are so used to hearing here in the US from people from Mexico or South America. They also use words that I'm told that Latin American don't use (or even know).

We received this today and we are already pleased. The lessons start from a beginner's level and the program is very easy to start and use.

Love this CD. Practiced Spanish on my commute to work every day. Until I bought a new car. No CD player.

For everyone who wants to learn to speak- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I so love the CD. I drive a lot so this is perfect for me. People look at me weird because I have to repeat the words and sentences out loud but I don't care. I went to Cuba and used it all.

This is very good, the phrases are very repetitive so helps what you've learned to stay in your mind, would recommend!

When I brought this AudioNovo Spanish for Beginners CD I wanted to buy the whole course in time, I only got the Spanish 1 to see if I could get on with it as I'm quite elderly to start learning and was delighted at the pace of the learning and I was over the moon when I read in the package that I could get the cost of the first CD off the cost of the second one, simply by going onto AudioNovo website so dedided that I would buy that to. I tried to get on the site but was having problems so I phoned amazon and emailed AudioNovo. I was very suprised when the owner of the company phoned me and said he was going to send me the next cd's free of charge within the next 2 weeks as I had been having problems. I am really happy that I am able to continue my studies on this course as I'm really enjoying the style of learning whilst driving to and from work and I'm definitely looking forward to moving onto the next stage when the cd's arrive. The customer service from this company has been outstanding. THANK YOU SO MUCH
