CASTMASTER JULIETTE LOG WOOD BURNING BURNER MULTIFUEL CAST IRON STOVE 6.7kw - STAINLESS FITTINGS

We bought this to replace a large old wood burner. When it arrived it was much smaller than expected and we were a bit bothered it may not give out much heat. How we were wrong it is a great little heater now we have got used to the controls , we had to split our large logs as the inside is small.The down side was the ash pan, we found a small oven tray for £2 that fitted also the bigger logs kept falling out so we fitted a higher front in. We like it and we are using far less logs and getting a great output of heat.

It started to rust wasn't happy the company told me to paint it

Did not give off the same heat as our last in every disappointed with it. Have now bought another one to replace it.

I feel a bit bad about writing a review with a slightly negative tinge. fFirst off for the money this is a cracker of a log burner, and I am pleased that I purchased it. In life it is true that you get what you pay for and this is very much the case with this stove. the looks and size are perfect for our front room, my only criticism is the controls are not at all responsive, I would go as far to say if you have loaded too much wood, you are unable to cut off the oxygen supply via either the air-wash or the lower control. I don't know if I am the only person with this problem, but when all the controls are in the closed position the combustion chamber is still getting air. Our fitter told us it was due to the castings on the air control slides. When they are in the closed position you can see from the out side that there is a gap between the sliding plate and the door and frame casting. That is the only slight downside of this burner. When you compare prices with a similar sized upper range unit you really do appreciate what you have. So to conclude, if you are buying this for a back up source of heating with the aesthetics in mind, you will get used to how much fuel to load and you will be as happy as we are with it. VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. The only other little niggle I have with the purchase is, when I made an enquire to the technical team regarding the air control, they told me to talk to my qualified fitter. That wasn't really an answer to my question.

Delivery ,Excellent came day after i ordered the Stove.Very well packed in wooden box with cardboard outer on a pallet .Fixed stove in boat very impressed with looks and workmanship. Does the job nicely. Cracking little stove.

I hunted high and low to find an ornate pretty stove with detail, everywhere I went I was told you wont find anything.So pleased to find this great value looks amazing !!!!!!

Got this for my parents, who were overjoyed with the item. It is as described and delivery was fast. Item is VERY heavy so be prepared when you receive it. Would recommend this listing to anyone!
