Nite Ize CamJam XT Aluminum Rope Tightener 500 lb.

We needed an easily rope tightener system to use when putting up decorations overhead, like at a wedding reception or dance. My many years of knot-tying was getting tiring and difficult to get other to assist (weren't you a Boy Scout, too?). These devices require no skill to create a rope tightening system.We couple these with a small pulley and carabiner at the turn point to create a way to adjust overhead ropes for centering and tautness. Now anyone can help adjust the ropes.My only complaint is that I didn't buy these years ago.

These CamJams are convenient around the camp setup. Use the CamJam for string lines for hangups or to create wnd shields. Good to have in your pack.

Heavy duty. Great item to have when temporarily hoisting items.

This larger size works up-to 9mm so I bought for my 3/8” line on Boat Fenders. New boat dual console, hard to reach over windshield to tie fenders midship, these work great. I reach over and clip them in place to cleats easy to adjust when needed.

Priced better than other sellers and work well to use for camping and back packing

Wow, game changer. Truly saved time and energy with putting tie downs on the pop up tent. Wish I would have had these with our canvas pavilion. Set our quick pop up commercial tent and needed tie downs because of impending weather. These made 20+ minutes into 5 to do all corners. That gave us enough time to get things under cover before the rain. Afterwards used them as tie downs in my friends pickup bed over their tarp and made it much easier than putting on a spider for the tarp.

I use for a portable close line. I love it because I can tighten it as needed to keep the clothes from hitting the floor. My only complaint is releasing it after I’ve tightened it so tight. I’m pretty sure it’s me because I was able to easily release it once I just haven’t figured out the trick! Highly recommend for multiple uses!
