High-quality, elegant, and great value.
Amazing sound quality. If you are looking for a simple, high-quality speaker for use with a record player and/or Bluetooth input, this is the answer. Ignore reviews that complain about the app. You can also control the speaker manually if you don’t like the app. You do have to hold the button down for a few seconds to turn it on and off, but it’s not a big deal once you figure that out (and I just told you, so you don’t have to figure it out!).

Sound for the soul.
This Bluetooth speaker has it all. Ease of connection, an app for fine tuning and excellent sound. It is a great medium size that fills the room with clear and beautiful sound. For the money it is a great purchase.

Great and Accurate Bluetooth Speaker
I’d consider myself an audiophile, and own or have owned some of the top audio products on the market. The Klipsch Three Plus is a great sounding speaker with a nice balance between bass and treble, as some products in this category tend to be either bass-heavy or mid to treble heavy. I’m also a guitar player and have owned many different guitar amplifiers, with my favorites tending to be Fender or Marshall tube amps. Because of my affection for Marshall Amps, I originally ordered a Marshall Stanmore III Bluetooth speaker, but returned it as it did well on the bass end, but lacked the subtle nuances of treble and mids. The Klipsch is very well-rounded and delivers an accurate sound, without the overly heavy bass sound that other speakers offer. Many judge a speaker because it has a lot of bass, but that’s not how the music was intended to sound. Klipsch is known for accuracy, and the Three Plus delivers. Another thing I like about the Klipsch is the build quality and the classic design. I purchased the Walnut variant and it looks beautiful. It would look great nearly anywhere in your home. I’m very pleased with my Klipsch purchase and will be ordering the One Plus for a smaller room. Nice products.

Listen up! Do these things and you'll be happy!
There's a few things about this speaker you MUST do to get it to sound good (which it's amazing). First, before you even unbox it, download the Klipsch Connect app. This allows you to update the firmware and adjust the EQ (which it desperately needs). Out of the box without the app, the speaker simply does NOT sound good. In the EQ setting, put the bass on +3, mid to -1 and the treble to +4. This makes a huge difference! Secondly, you HAVE to let this speaker break in. It has one of the tightest sounds out of the box I've heard. After listening at moderate level playing music with some bass, it REALLY opens up and again, sounds even better. The cones and surrounds are incredibly tight on this speaker at first. You will notice a massive difference if you just keep playing it. Trust me, update the firmware, adjust the EQ and let it break in and it's almost audiophile quality. Klipsch did it right with this one and I'm glad I bought it (I actually bought two to pair them together which is easy). I hope this review helps. It'll make a HUGE difference if you do all of these things. I see these returned and I guarantee you the folks who sent them back didn't do the above or they would have kept it!

I really like this speaker as a main system alternative!
Let me put this review into some perspective for you. I'm an older guy who grew up with, and still own, audiophile equipment for "serious listening". I own a cylindrical Bose portable speaker that has internet streaming capability missing here (subtracted one star mainly for no excusing that) that is very good in terms of its general, portable FM radio-like sound, But I was looking for something more for a bedroom. I wanted to replace the clutter of the older receiver and speakers on a dresser top, while not sacrificing too much in terms of sound quality. NYT Wirecutter recently featured the Klipsche One Plus, but I wanted RCA cable connections, so upgraded to the Three plus - and very pleased. Initial response was disappointing - the sound was very flat. As you've read, you need to download the app to have the option to manipulate the sound/EQ. Look folks - I'm 70 yrs old and did it easily. I'm not sure what the problem is if you follow the instructions. The app provides very limited ranges for change. However, it does address the "can't really listen at low volumes" issue (turn the output down in the app) and the flat response can be changed - again limited range - but enough to bring some life back into the sound. Hooking an old school CD player up was a breeze, and pressing the main control button allowed seamless transition from blu-tooth to old school. I have listened to lots of different music on this unit - from Charli XCX (really) to Brandi Carlisle, Bruce Springsteen (ah - the remaster Nebraska!), Yo Yo Ma and symphonic music, Count Basie, and the Modern Jazz Quartet. Everything sounded wonderful, with the more natural records (Modern Jazz Quartet, Nebraska, Yo Yo) coming out on top. Much fuller than myBose portable, and clearly not the same experience as listening to my audiophile sound system. But it sounded fulfilling - and that's key. Attractive, easy connectivity, and very good sound. Could have had internet connectivity and sound that was more open. Overall, a solid blu-tooth alternative at a good price point.

Hard to get to interface with bluetooth
Doubt this is user error, but the unit and app simply do not play nicely with Bluetooth?? I tried about 2 hrs for a connection - so frustrating - because otherwise it's a nice looking unit, and for the 1.5 seconds of time I heard it play something, it sounded great.

Amazing sound from a compact enclosure!
I was looking to upgrade my SiriusXM living room setup from the Sirius docking boombox and chose this speaker. The difference is astounding. Not only does this speaker have plenty of bass, but midtones are warm and the treble is crisp. I followed another reviewer's advice and used the Klipsch Connect app on my phone to boost bass and treble and roll back the midtones a bit. And they were right about breaking the speaker in also - the more I listen, the better it sounds. I had listened to blues and rock with a lot of bass which this speaker handles beautifully, but what was really amazing was how good a 12-string guitar song sounded - all of the complexity and subtle tonality was there! This speaker can also get loud (yes it goes up to 11 and over I believe) while maintaining clarity.

$400 Boat Anchor
If you'd like to pissaway your money and time, this item will fulfil that task for you. Arrived, set it up, paired it with my laptop, no sound. Paired it with my phone, no sound. checked with the old Bose, both work w/the Bose. Kids come over, they try with their Apple products (I don't use Apple). No sound. Kids try with the Bose, everything works perfectly. I connect the USB. Works. Okay, that'll do. 2 days, that dies. email tech support 3 days later they reply and I jump through their hoops. Nothing. Tech support says they need receipt and serial # - provide that. they don't like the amazon receipt nor the only number on the unit, It's "not a valid" serial number. JFC! Take the POS out to the trash bin, toss it in, -- order a new Bose and TAAAADAAAA! perfect. The Klipsch looks great and fits nicely in a space for such. When it was working, sounded like a box speaker - not impressive Tech support is useless and creates more problems than it solves so you'll go away. I may go out and get it and use it for target practice. It may serve that purpose well
