Warm/Somewhat Small
These are a bit small. However, I wore them under my unlined ski pants a couple of weeks ago when I hit the slopes and couldn't have been warmer. I'm typically a size 12- ordered a size L but should have ordered a size XL.

Flattering, smooth, thin, comfortable, base layers. The stirups are everything.
Such a great thin base layer. Fuzzy microfiber on the inside, smooth satin finish on the outside. I love the stirups to help keep everything neat and flat under boots and layers. Bought one in the store while accumulating my first set of ski gear base layers, and had to order another one online because Ive been wearing them so much. Havent even hit the slopes yet but wore them while ice skating as well as using them as a base layer under my regular clothes on colder days or even just on their own. They are so flatering smooth thin and comfortable. And while they may not be completely as warm as my smartwool baselayers, unlike my wool base layers, the satin finish of these makes it much easier for other layers to glide ride on. Just want to reinforce how helpful the stirups have been in keeping everything neat and flat while layering or just putting on socks and boots. Similar to my recent use of activewear tops with thumb holes, I never realized how much I needed stirups until I had them, now I want them on everything!

Good leggings; not stirrip pants
These are actually leggings with stirrup bottoms, rather than stirrup pants, and are made out of good quality but relatively thin material. I gave them to my daughter to use as leggings because I wanted loose stirrup pants, not tight leggings, to use in colder seasons when I wear boots to walk my dogs.

Great fit for petite riders!
Being 5'0" tall, finding "affordable" well-fitting base layer bottoms is a challenge. Twelve years ago, I found Hot Chillys' stirrup bottom by accident and splurged. The inseam length was perfect (no gathers around ankles or knees), no pinching in my snowboard boots, and they kept me warm! Because the spandex fabric makes it form fitting, wearing them under denim jeans is comfortable and easy during off-mountain strolls.Since my first Hot Chillys purchase, I bought a couple cheaper brands/styles to supplement my cold gear ...but they couldn't compare! The cheaper non-petite brands/styles were baggy/loose and the crotch was too deep (think Steve Urkel in "Family Matters") and I found myself going back to wearing my one pair of Hot Chillys for the entire trip on the slopes. Oh and yes, my first Hot Chillys still fits comfortably to this day (granted my Hot Chillys don't get as much mileage living in HI). And in anticipation of a long awaited and well-deserved white Christmas on the slopes this year, I picked up another pair of Hot Chillys stirrup bottom! Now I'm all set!

stirrup
I wasn't expecting these to be more geared for cold weather wear, I was thinking they were cotton or poly like the ones we wore in the 80's but liked them all the same

Love the stirrups!
These are warm and I love the stirrups! I sometimes wish the material at the bottom were as warm as the top though.

Great, just like my pair 20 years ago!
I finally replaced my Hot Chillys from 20 years ago because ... well, because after 20 years I think it's time. I'd been off the slopes for a very long time, so now that I've recommitted to the sport it was time for a replacement. These are exactly what I wanted. They are comfortable, warm, and durable just like my last pair. Glad to see the Hot Chillys company hold up after all these years and still offer good products, particularly with base layers.

Don't do it!
Terrible, I thought these would be warmer than the regular ones. I love the regular ones from H.C. except for the inch between the bottom and my socks. You can't tell from the pictures, but from halfway down your calf through the stirrup, it's a different, and not very warm material. They are also not proper for anyone 6' tall such as myself. They pull down too much and the waist is totally different than the originals. I would return if I could!!!!!!!!
