Just what my Latitude 7400 needed
Bought a 7400 in great condition, but the battery dropped from 100% to less than 50% overnight. Installed this new battery which was a perfect fit. Charged it to 100%, unplugged it and shut it down. 8 hours later when I turned it on, it was still at 100%. It’s a very quality looking battery and at this price, it was $100 cheaper than one from Dell.

it fit rite in place.havta use old cable.comes with screwdriver to remove screws...laptop fired rite up an all seems well..UPDATE..went to hell..wont charge..leaks

more difficult to install than necessary. Should include the cable preinstalled.
wheres the cable? I had to remove the cable from old battery and was afraid I might damage the cable because the OE cable is really wedged into the battery and no clear instructions on how to remove this cable. one has to bend cable up to unlatch it before pulling it out. It did fit after have to route the cable carefully thru the battery.

Battery was used.
A used battery was sent, had some damage and no hardware or instructions included as shown in listing. To much trouble to return. Would not buy again, poor service.

Good price. Possible capacity issue.
I ordered the battery for Dell 7400. The battery works. But as I check the battery health via Windows batteryreport, there are interesting findings.From the battery report:1. The battery was used two months ago for a while. I can't tell if this battery was returned or a tech person tested the battery exclusively two months ago.2. The Design Capacity of the battery is 60,002 mWh, the actual capacity only shows a max of 43,724 mWh.It means 27% less the the design capacity.Regardless, I have to test it further to see how the battery health performs.The price is excellent. I wanted to buy this battery a few months ago and it was much more expensive.

Easy to swap, extra capacity
Had more capacity than the original, 10 year old kid swapped it out (supervised). Works well, had 70% soc and runs the Dell for more than 5 hours with average use.
