I bought it in advance, my program provided a hard copy and electronic access. I did some advance reading in my copy, but once I received electronic access I basically never opened the hard copy again. Both versions are, so far as I can tell, identical. I found the e-book to be incredibly helpful in preparing for my course exams as well as the NR-EMT. The built in quizzes were immensely helpful in understanding the material and they were great preparation for the NR-EMT. Folks who prefer paper copy to electronic will find this book very helpful.
