Let me repeat - LIFE SAVER. I just moved to Florida a few months ago and I learned that apparently I have a BO problem. I have never been too concerned with BO before. Yeah, on a hot day in the North or North East (where I used to live), it could get bad, but a reapplication of my usual brand was good enough. So anyway, I never thought I had a BO problem, I never used to sweat much. I'm a thin girl who doesn't exercise much or do active things that often. But this Florida heat and the sun apparently is relentless. In minutes (literally) of being hot and/or being out in the sun, I would STINK, like REEK - and I had JUST put my usual deodorant on. At first, I was using my normal Degree Motion Sense Sport brand thinking that should be good enough because it always was in the past. Nope. So I went back to the store and saw Degree Summer Strength Clinical Protection. I was like Ahah! That must be it! The next day... nope. 5 minutes being in the sun, same thing - terrible BO. I was like wow. This is really embarrassing. Since when do I have a BO problem?? So I went online and did some research. Schmidtsde came up as a highly-rated BO fighting brand to try, and it was natural, so I went for it. Guess what? NO BO PROBLEMS ANYMORE!!!! It's such a relief! I'm so happy I did the research and found this brand. It smells kind of strong but it lasts all day (and even through most of the night) and I literally do not have problems with my BO anymore. Last weekend I was out in the sun sweating all day long. I was walking around, dancing, eating, all those things, and I forgot I even had anything to worry about. I only thought about it once I came home and realized I did not stink at all, all day long. I'm so happy with this. Thank you for solving my BO issues.

I love this deodorant, and it’s gotten hard to find in stores. It smells amazing, and it’s pretty strong although not overwhelming. With that, anyone looking for an antiperspirant will be disappointed. That is the reason for 4/5–I don’t expect it to be something it’s not, but if I have a busy day at work and end up sweating, the last two hours of my day need a refresher (but seriously, to have a natural product work for two-thirds of my day on the busiest days makes it pretty amazing so maybe I should just give it a 5). Normally I get the Lavender, which is just as amazing, but when I am feeling more spring-ie and want a more energized scent, I absolutely adore the lime.

I bought this from a discount store first. I usually make my own deodorants or use only natural products. I had never heard of this brand before but looked at the ingredients and they all sounded just like my homemade products. A little concerned about the baking soda as that has caused me issues when I have used in my homemade stuff. I started using this and after a few weeks my underarms started to become itchy and irritated - so disappointed and stopped using it. Well I healed up quickly and thought I would give it one more try. I have never had another episode of irritation since. I think your underarms go through a detox period where all the toxins are being drawn out with the baking soda. Once the toxins are gone then the ingredients no longer bother you. Anyway, I am happy to say I am buying more - this lasts a long time and smells heavenly. The scent lasts a long time and since it is Rose scented it is calming. I have no break through odor nor any wetness. Even though I can make my own deodorant much cheaper than this I prefer to use this. It's clean and natural and the scent makes me feel good. It feels good on my skin, lasts a long time, and doesn't mess up my clothes. I am very happy that I gave this unknown brand a chance.

A couple of years ago i tried a few other brands of natural deodorants. But after a few months.... i just felt stinky all the time and went back to my Dove and Axe . Fast forward a few years... and i decided to give natural deodorants another try. So i read through a ton of reviews for all different sorts of natural deodorants. Finally decided on Schmidt's. The were so many positive reviews! The ones about the high heat/ humidity areas or athletes really drew me in. I live in Central Texas and some days just getting in the office from the parking lot call for another shower. So I was looking forward to using this amazing product! As suggested by many online folks.... i gave my body a couple of weeks to adjust. By week 3, I felt like everything going well. Keep in mind.... i live in central texas. And this was during the late spring going into summer.... so 90°plus days are the norm. I sweated as expected but did not feel "stinky" like in the past. Looked like a win so far! About 2 months in (mid to late June) .... i felt a strange burning sensation in my pit. I thought I was a bit aggresive with the pit shave the night before and just ignored the burning that day. By the time i got home my pit was super irritated. I'm have dark olive skin so the red was very noticeable. The area even seemed a bit swollen. I gently washed and then avoided applying deodorant on that side the next few days. By the end of the week.... my other pit was red and irritated! I hadn't switched shampoo, body wash, shaving cream or laundry detergent during this time. So i was pretty certain our was my new deodorant. For over a week, i went deordorant free so the rash would clear. Worked a lot from home to spare my co-workers the delicious aroma. Did i mention it was the middle of summer in Texas? At about the 2 week mark san deodorant.... i decided to try again. Within 2-3 days the rash was back. After the second rash... i didn't try again. I initially tried "warming" the stick with my body heat and even a hairdryer to see if that made a difference in the application. And only did 1-2 swipes when applying. Guess this just wasn't the natural deodorant for me.

I so badly wanted to LOVE this deodorant. In fact, I did the first few days of use and couldn't wait to get on here and post a review making sure the world knew I thought it was wonderful!! It was the FIRST natural deodorant I've tried that didn't need to be reapplied multiple times in a day. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised the sweet vanilla rose scent could still be smelt the following day when I woke up! It seemed to be such good quality, I thought 1 application might last 2 days in a row (of course I didn't want to experiment with that so I always reapplied the next morning. Ha!) As does, life happened so a few days turned into a few weeks and I still hadn't got around to writing that review. During that time, my opinion changed... drastically. The first thing I noticed were the sweat stains on my shirts. The only thing worse than having black shirts stained with white deodorant marks is having white shirts stained with BROWN deodorant marks. I'm not talking an old shirt that had gradually been stained in the armpits over time like all shirts do. I'm talking a BRAND NEW white shirt that had never been worn. I started paying more attention and every light colored shirt I wore stained brown / orange sweat marks; because, as you can see from my picture, the color of the deodorant is brownish. So that was the first big bummer. But like all natural things, the deodorant is more costly than something from a drug store and I can't just keep buying a new natural deodorant every time one doesn't work. And because I love the scent of this so much and love the lasting protection it gives, I decided to see my deodorant stick through to the end. A few days later I noticed a few red bumps on my armpits. I thought it was a razor burn or from my bra digging into my armpit. I stopped wearing that bra and gave it a few days to see if the bumps went away. And here we are 2 weeks later and the bumps have gotten WAY worse. They aren't itchy. I don't think I'm allergic to the product. And I've never had any issues like this... like EVER. I have zero allergies to anything that I've stumbled on so far in my lifetime and don't have sensitive skin. So I do believe it's due to this product. My hunch is that because the deodorant is so thick, that's why it lasts so long and even the second day I still smell it on me; yet, BECAUSE it is so thick, I think it's clogging my pores and causing bacteria to build up. I don't think the product is crap. I really believe it is a quality product. It just doesn't work for me. If it did, I would never use any deodorant but this as long as I lived. That's how much I wanted to love this product. All of you who it works for, you are so lucky!

Seems to work well and lasts throughout day and night. The fragrance is nice without being overpowering. As I've aged most deodorants have quit working well for me. The only complaint I have is that when you replace cap some of the product is shaved off.

Love the smell!

The smell is not strong, a natural deodorant that works for me. I usually use the lavender one but saw this one on sale so I gave it a try. It works great just like the lavender one, and didn't give me a rash like the rose one. Will continue to buy it.

J'avais très peur de passer d'un déodorant de supermarché à celui là et pourtant, je suis impressionnée par son efficacité. Il ne bloque pas la transpiration ( qui est naturelle ) mais supprime 100% des mauvaises odeurs. Je l'ai testé au quotidien, y compris pour des séances de sports et j'ai été extrêmement surprise de son efficacité. Il ne me crée aucune irritation jusqu'ici, l'application est peut être délicate ( attention de ne pas enfiler les vêtements après l'avoir appliqué, il peut tacher ! mais il suffit de passer de l'eau sur les tissus pour les retirer. ) car il est un peu épais ( peu de produit suffit ! ) et il semblerait qu'il craigne la chaleur, mais conservé dans un endroit frais tout sera ok. Je suis sure de recommander des produits de cette marque dés qu'il sera fini. Seul bémol, le mien ne se revisse pas à l’intérieur, mais rien de dramatique !
