Lovely pen
Looks very classy, far more expensive than it costs, and writes really well. I prefer a larger barrel and this one suits me well - it’s very comfortable to use.Comes with a converter so is ready to use with bottled inks or cartridges. I’m using it with a shimmering bottled ink, and it’s working great. Two thumbs up 👍🏼👍🏼

A Stunningly Attractive Fountain Pen
As a one-off, if you want to gift this to someone or keep it for yourself, you'll be getting an excellently engineered and extremely attractive object which can be used and cherished for generations. If you're already a fountain pen addict, this fountain pen crashes through the previous standards of the law of diminishing returns apropos the ratio of cost versus quality. At a reasonable price of £34.00 you'll get a fountain pen that overshadows any brand that costs up to £600.00. It's simply that good.Something like this goes to remind you that all the love, language of aesthetics and importance an object has to ones life because of worth, is little more than a search for belonging, a search for status. I guess there's nothing wrong with that but reality is a leveler... and there's nothing more leveling than when you can compare an object worth £34.00 to an object worth £600.00 and empirically see no difference.

Wow!
I am a fountain pen collector and none has come close to the Mont Blanc 146/ 149 like this one. I am not sure if I even like it better for the smooth nib, the shiny look, the large ink reservoir, the weight and balance and its general appearance/ design. It looks more expensive than it actually is and certainly performs to back the looks. It stands out in your hand to others and makes you feel like you are holding something solid, that was well put together.

Very shiny
I'm not keen on it unfortunately. Build quality looks great, I like the colour of the glass/plastic bit (I went for the blue-grey) but the metal is very shiny and a fingerprint magnet. I was expecting more of a matte finish from the pictures, or at least not quite as high a shine.I damaged the box a little when opening it, so won't return it, maybe see if I can sand it down a bit. I'm sure that will end well :D

You won’t be disappointed
I have now bought five different Asvine fountain pens as I like to write in my journal in different inks. Every one of them is lovely to write with. I have a Montblanc which cost me hundreds & it is rubbish in comparison.
