Neolab 4038 Measuring Cylinder, Low Form, 500 ml – 10 ml – Polypropylene – Round Base

Unbreakable and very positively graduated such that a volume is easy to read and will continue to be as the markings are moulded-on not inked and therefore less liable to gradual wear and degradation. German-made and of near-laboratory quality it should give many years of service.Not the cheapest option but the 10 ml graduations will prove useful and sufficiently accurate for use when bread making, as increments in various recipes are usually given in multiples of 10 ml and rarely 5; intermediate 5ml values are easily assessed. It will replace a smaller one that originally came with a bread-maker but which is now becoming opaque and less usable with intensive use.

This is a fairly basic product but tough and sturdy and stable on a flat surface. The markings are heavily raised and easy to read despite not being coloured - this is an advantage as there are many measuring cylinders with painted markings which rub off.

Expensive for what it is.Mediocre construction quality.
