Very pleased to find this item on Amazon, in spite of our chiminea being 20 years old. Exact replica of the original and fits perfectly. Well worth waiting a few days for and the price made repair of the old one uneconomical.

Super solid, I have 4- 5 jour fires sometimes and lesser grids just don't last long. It does bow after a real session DO NOT try to straighten it cast iron is brittle cold and will snap! Just flip it upside down next time until in the level position again.If you do the above this will last you a long time!

after receiving this on Wednesday 1st of June 2022 , that evening we lit our first fire using this fire bottom in our log burner, we had burnt no more than 6 logs 3 at a time , this fire bottom did not last as one side bent and the other side cracked badly. This is very inferior quality cast iron and will not stand even a small log fire ,they say to get my money refunded i have to return the product in it's original packaging and un used but the faults did not occur until you used it, if i had known how bad the quality was i would not have bought it, but you live and learn, not a happy customer.

Started going rusty after just 3 days in the chimnea.

Fits well and is at a higher level than the original grate. I have only used once so far but it looks robust.Manufacturer - Please make in other sizes

Extremely poor quality. These grids have only lasted a max of ten uses before they have buckled and split. The originals that came with the chiminea lasted years before this happened. Customer services say that this is normal, nonsense!! Asked for their help, nothing forthcoming.
