ODODOS Modal Soft Wide Leg Shorts for Women High Waist Casual Relaxed Shorts with Pockets-Inseam 4"/ 6"

Hey! Not paid to say any of this. I love these! I’m 52yrs, 5’2”, 130-135 lbs, curvy petite (shorter legs longer torso) I got the 6 inch in ivory. Waiting on 4in to arrive…my expectations are cautiously optimistic with a shorter “short”. I’m not skinny or “fat”, I do have “meatier” thighs and still have a somewhat of a butt…..it used to be much more pert and curvier but now it seems to have started sliding south like everything else on my body. I do not have a big protruding belly but it is also not super flat….my natural waist does not go “in” like an hour glass…it never has….so yeah…the SPANX-ish, tighter and thicker waist band….I like it! A lot! It holds in my frontal core (almost like a back support belt), the elastic doesn’t roll, pinch or twist, stays in position, pulling the sides of my waist in, giving me a more hourglass shape. They have deep pockets, a tailored look but feel nice and “roomy” through lower abs, butt, rear flanks, saddlebags and inner thigh. High waisted, yes, but without the camel toe and accentuated belly pooch that come with “high waisted” designs with bad lines, poor executed pleats on thin material combined and button/zipper closure. Material is thicker and more forgiving of dimples and jiggling skin….feels almost like moisture wicking type-ish?!! Not sure…but I say this to clarify it does NOT make you hot. Also, FYI, if happen to be sitting outside while having a meal or socializing, and maybe it’s a warm day/night, and/or you have a “flash”, or you sneeze, cough or laugh a bit too hard (wink wink)…you’ll be fine. Moisture penetration doesn’t seem to be an issue. For a shorty…6 inch inseam fit me really well! (Shocked me) I look taller and thinner. These shorts pull triple duty…..work, social and personal…. not bad for $24. Wear to work at office (I wear mine to work with little kitten heels and button down blouse, I wear them to work around the house with flip flops, I’ve dressed them up for baby showers and nights out with the ladies. Socially appropriate shorts for those of us who are over 50yrs and want to ditch the crop or capris and have something, shorter than knee length Bermuda but more stylish and feminine than some boxy, stiff, chino. They can be a smidge sexy (depending on how you style it up) but still long enough to be age appropriate and cover saggy thigh skin and jiggly bits. No belt loops but you can wear a nice wide woven, elastic belt (I bought 3 pack with wooden “buckles” from Amazon they work great). You get the comfort and sustainability of athletic material but instead of always looking like you should be heading to the gym….you look nice!…like you woke up and said “Hey everybody! Today, I’m gonna actually give a crap and put on some “real” clothes!”. I only wished it came with some kind of color matching top or a cute blazer style jacket ….I’d be ALL over that.

*Update*: Based on how much I wore these shorts last summer I upgraded my rating to five stars due to the versatility of these shorts. Were a staple of my summer wardrobe.I always have trouble shopping for shorts that fit in all the right places and are flattering. These shorts are just the ticket in that they are not too short, the leg opening is wide so seam doesn’t pinch thighs, and the front is pleated/draped to skim tummy area. These can be worn as casual or dressy yet comfy enough to feel like PJs. The only downside is the waistband size in proportion to other measurements. These shorts will fit if you have a smaller waist compared to hips or hourglass body type.

These shorts are buttery soft and the fit is super comfortable. The waist is nice and thick and the pleating + flare snatches you in to give you “she’s put together” look. I love that it’s a workout material but can be made to look more dressy. Curious to see how it does with actual sweat since modal tends to show moisture. Regardless I am grabbing one in every color!

These are beautiful shorts soft and well made. The only issue I had with them was the wide elastic waistband was incomfortably tight for my taste. I ordered a size up and still the waistband bothered me. I ended up returning both pairs. I wish I could of kept them as they were otherwise so nice.

These were super comfy. I wore them with fleece lined legging to a Christmas party and really liked them.

I love the material and quality of these shorts! I bought an XL and they were just too tight around the waist but still wearable! The material is divine and they hang very nice.

These shorts are SO comfortable, the pockets are deep, the material is soft but breathable. True to fit. Completely prevent chub rub and I genuinely don't have to pull them down after every 5 steps, they will work their way up, but it takes much longer than most shorts.
