We bought this for my son to add to his older car so he would be safer driving. Before this he was having to look down at his phone more. This product has been a great tool for him. GPS works great and the screen allows him to see it well without taking his eyes off the road.Additionally, APHQUA customer service has been top notch. After six months of owning the product the on/off switch broke. We contacted the company and since they could not fix it they sent us a new one. Appreciate a company standing by their product.We have now bought a second one for my other son’s older car.

I’m a driveaway carrier for major truck manufacturers, and upfitters. I’m in a different truck sometimes everyday, sometimes a few days. I need a dash cam and a GPS. I like how this combines the two. I’ve used CarPlay for the past 5 years in my personal truck and it works well. I don’t really see myself driving without it, and it’s kinda annoying when I don’t have it. CarPlay is great with whatever navigation you prefer, hands free, and music control. 80% of the trucks that I drive don’t have a radio. I pair it with my JBL speaker for sound, and directions, and use a headset for calls/texts. It really streamlines the hands free when the screen is displaying what’s going on. The camera seems to work well I upgraded the included SD card to one that was 128gb that I had from my previous dash cam. It seams to work well. When something happens that you want to save you just have to reach down and tap the lock to save the video. You can adjust the length of the individual recording up to 5 minutes. I haven’t had the opportunity to try to transfer the video off the unit yet. I’ll have to see how that goes. But I’ve used it now for 2.5 weeks and 8000 miles, and it’s been great. I recommend it to another driver that trained me, although he has an Samsung phone, he purchased one. I’m also going to buy a second for a family member who does the same work as me.

It's not bad. I use it for carplay 99% of the time and once I figured out how to hook it up, it's been good for that. The sticky pad has been GREAT on my dash so that is a HUGE plus. The downside is the fact that I can't get videos to play on it like it shows. I've read the instructions a million times (and followed them), but it just is't working. Not a dealbreaker for me, but kind of annoying. Also, it won't automatically darken and where I put it, it's out of my reach (hence why I wanted it for carplay.... so it would be hands free essentially) and so at night the screen is too bright until I manually darken it. That's not great at all. Otherwise it's decent. It works well and definitely does work with carplay.

I was skeptical when I ordered this because I wasn't sure if I would be better off just using my phone. After a few weeks I can say that this thing is really nice. The interface is refreshingly simple and everything works great. I use it for android auto and apple carplay as my wife uses an iPhone and I have an android. Both work great with the device. The screen feels huge and is crisp and responsive to touch. The dash cam can be rotated 180 degrees so I just use it as a way to see my kids in the backseat when necessary. I reached out to customer support to change the boot logo and was very pleased with the high level of support I was given to get thay sorted. Oh and the stand sticks incredibly well to the dash which was also great. I definitely recommend this product. 2011 Volvo xc70 btw

For having a car that is not up to date or new I loved that I was able to add this product to my dashboard. It was easy to connect and install to my car and my phone and definitely made some of those long drives more bearable. I highly recommend.

I originally bought one for my car and was very happy with how well it performed out the box I immediately bought a second one for my wife's car.These are very easy to setup and connect your phone too, navigation works flawlessly too. Phone calls come through without too many problems except for one big problem and that's the microphone volume that leaves the person on the other end struggling to year you.The FM tuner is not great with the sound coming though all distorted so best to use the AUX or the built in speakers (that are lack any kind of bass).

After about month of use it has started to become bit laggy now.

Absolutely love the APHQUA Wireless Apple Carplay! The 9.3'' screen is crystal clear, and it seamlessly integrates with my iPhone. Setup was a breeze, and now I can't imagine driving without it. Definitely worth every penny!

good product for old cars

I was sceptical at first but once received and setup it's a great product. Does exactly what it says and the mount holds it nicely. Highly recommended.
