Durable and great quality!
I bought this stuff because I wanted to 3D print a rail adapter for the Cybergun FAMAS AEG Airsoft Rifle. I didn't want to print using my FDM printers and it gave me a good excuse to buy a bottle of ABS resin. I got black and honestly, there's something about pouring a pitch black liquid from a red biohazard-esque container that's double sealed that unnerves me.Anyways, the rail adapter came out perfectly first try, guessing the settings using past experiences and it worked like a charm. I even stress-tested it by slamming it around violently and trying to break it in half. I'm sure I could break it if I really, really wanted to. But it'll handle wear and tear nicely. So then the bottle sat in my resin cupboard for awhile. I had no other use for it. I was using plant based, water washable resin to print miniatures for Warhammer and D&D. And sometimes while I'm working with those delicate fragile mini's, my hands decide to stop working and just let go of whatever they're holding. Which equals, broken mini usually. Now, fixing them is pretty easy, I've gotten used to gluing tiny gun barrel tips back into place. But what if, that didn't happen anymore when something gets dropped? In comes this resin again. I was skeptical about it's ability to print hyper fine details. But on my Elegoo Saturn at .03mm it did not disappoint at all! The print quality is awesome. And the models also have this cool bit of transparency on the thinner areas. Not that you'd see it once it's all painted up. Still a cool look when they get all nice and cleaned up. The test model I printed, which is a 40K mini, I put through a similar stress test. Throwing it, dropping it, tossing it. And it wasn't until I really gave it a good throw that a little piece of his weapon broke off. Granted, I pitched that poor Marine like a baseball.Overall, I love this stuff! And I'll definitely be picking up another bottle soon once this one runs out!

Prints good for the price.
Paid $6 for 1kg. Minis come out good but do have a failure rate of 40%. If you look close there are printing problems but at arms length away minis look pretty good.

Looks interesting but difficult to get a good print with EPAX X1
I decided to try this resin based on the photo. To be fair, I have an old EPAX X1 printer with the LED modification kit. Using the setting that were recommended, I couldn't get a good print. The resin did not cure enough so the supports were tearing out and the base layers did not adhere well. With longer cure times the model was very brittle. After some trial and error, I was able to get a finished print, but there were still some lines in the model. I ended up adding a little Syria Tech Blue resin to reduce the brittleness.Note that I had printed the model with other resins without an issue. I think the flake in the resin makes it difficult to print models with fine details. The color is interesting, especially if viewed from the side of the model that was parallel to the plate, as the resin manufacturer recommended. There is a shimmering effect with the colors shifting as the model is moved around. Looking a the model from the other angles isn't quite as interesting. more of a solid blue with some sparkles in it.Filtering the resin after use was difficult as the flakes clogged up the fine mesh of the filter. After the failed prints I like to filter the resin to make sure no small pieces a floating around that could crack the LCD.Overall, for certain types of prints that will mostly be view from the sides parallel to the plate, this resin produces a cool effect that would be difficult to mimic with paint. However, for a figurine the result isn't worth the difficulty of getting a good print.

Broken prints and difficult cleanup.
I DO NOT like this stuff. As another reviewer pointed out, if the print isn't parallel to the print surface it's translucent - the instructions state you need to print large surfaces parallel to the print bed for the metallic to be visible, but it doesn't state that it will be translucent otherwise. This stuff is brittle with little to no give, trying to get this off the print bed was a nightmare and resulted in several snapped prints. The slightest bend from the putty knife, and then xacto knife, resulted in a complete snap of prints. Adhesion to the plate was good, too good, getting this stuff to release so you can get your print is a challenge.Cleaning the vat was a nightmare. This stuff doesn't want to come off, even with 99% IPA it was a chore; still not sure my surfaces are restored to what they were prior to using this stuff. I read the previous reviews mentioning how awful this stuff was when they used the cleaning option for their printer, so I didn't even attempt that for fear of a bigger cleaning hassle, I just sought to get rid of the remaining resin and clean the vat.At the end of my adventure with this stuff I'm almost left feeling like I should replace my printbed and vat film. I will NOT be attempting to use this stuff again in the future, regardless of the project or needs.

Better than expected
To be honest, I expected some limited flexibility in this resin, as the photos don't really showcase it (I've never worked with Shore 80 material, and the information I found online was limited as well). However, this material is very rubber-like and flexible, even after curing, which is exactly what I needed. I had to get another bottle before this stuff is gone. It's thicker than hard resins, but still workable. Cleanup is about the same, and I didn't have a particular problem with the odor.
