I'm an academic & I need read & write every time. The Kobo Elipsa 2e is the perfect device for this job. It's time to read & write, not for screen & scrolling. The reader is perfect, the note taking is basic but powerful, it does what I need. I don't use its advanced features 'cause its basic features are enough for me. The Kobo Elipsa guarantee me being out of the internet focusing me in my work. Great reader!

Excelente era lo indicado

Had this for approaching a year now, and frankly, I just kind of hate it. The root design is actually quite serviceable, but the overall materials/implementation leaves much to be desired. As others have noted, the stand is very flimsy and is prone to collapsing, which also says all that probably needs to about the screen protection, since they're the same part. The price is right, especially compared to the egregious expense Kobo wants for their OEM case, and it's certainly superior to no case at all, but I wish there was more competition in the space of this device/model. Even this same body, which is fine enough protection and houses the stylus well, with a thicker cover flap would be much improved.

Fits my Elipsa 2E perfectly, but the material is flimsy and cheap. There's no magnet in the cover so it's flapping around all over the place instead of staying put when you're holding it. The pen housing is a tight fit and a bit awkward getting the stylus in and out of. This cover is probably okay if you're only using it as a stand or flat on a table, but it's very uncomfortable in my hands, given how loose the cover is when folded open.

Stylus holder is too narrow for stylus, making it difficult to place and remove. Opening the cover (turning the Kobo on) and folding it behind the Kobo results in turning the Kobo off.

While it seemed protective enough, I sent it back due to the flimsy, awkward stand.
