Although this fixes my posture very well and the back is straight, the area to rest the knees is a little too narrow and small. The knees end if on the outside edges and then you unconsciously spend hours tightening your nner thigh muscles to stop the knees sliding off.If the knee rest was wider or shaped to push back INWARDS then this would be much more helpful.The seat has a shaped cushion inside a faux leather covering. The foam is not attached or glued to the base, and only held in place by the faux leather. While sitting, you tend to slide down slightly, and this causes the foam to shift down the seat, and pressurise the faux leather thats holding in place. It also stresses the rear of the seat where the leather is "pulled" down and not sure how long this will hold.Ideally the foam should be glued to the base and not stress the cloth that holds it in place.Also had a few days to get used to shin pain while resting on the knee section as the edges of the cusion are too sharp and although they appear soft, resting on the edge for a few hours you'll start to feel it.After a few days I've managed to figure out a good position to sit in.

Looking at the reviews on these chairs at this price tag I was naturally hesitant. I chose a metal frame one as I guessed it would be more robust, which seems a good call having put it together. The gas powered up/down adjustment also puts this product far above others at the price tag. It is strong, sturdy, easy to put together (10 mins, everything provided). The change of posture these give can bring a massive change to be far more free from pain if you’re someone who is seated for quite a bit of the time. I’m so glad I dived in and got one and I’m pleased this one proved to be quality. Well padded, easy on the eye, comfortable, helpful. Can’t rave about it enough. If you don’t know which to buy - pick this. I nearly spent £100 to get a 5* review product but glad I didn’t.

Awful product for the follow reasons.1. The foam of the seat isn't attached tot the base. It's held their by the covering,which means itco stantly moves and I have to keep pushing it back into place.2.the cover is a vile, cheap pvc3 it rocks, wobbles and creaks despite being assembled correctly and all bolts etc. Being tight4. IT DOES Not force you to sit correctly. I still slouch.5. Worst of all, it gives you very sore shins after a couple of hours. With long trousers on, my legs were becoming bruised and inflamed.

My son injured his back and would not have been able to complete his UNI work at the computer without this chair. Had severe back and leg pain and although obviously could not sit for long periods at least able to complete his assignments.

Hello, I didnt want to spend a lot of money on a kneeling chair unless I knew it would work for me. So this chair is an experiment and after reading the reviews I decided to go for it. The chair arrived today, on-time as promised, the instructions arent great but it gives you a general clue on how to set it up. For me the trick was to understand where to best place the piviot point for the legs as there are 5 holes. I am 5ft 9 so I went for the middle one which seems to work (I got it wrong the first time. If youre taller you would need to go down towards the legs or up towards the seat if you are shorter. Well thats my best guess in any case. I didnt install the castors and its too early to tell if the kneeling chair is going to help me with my posture but I want to give it a shot as they say. The 4 stars are for the instructions and the paint scrapes easily but you can always touch that up. The chair is sturdy from my perspective. I hope this helps....

Firm cushion which suits me fine (I work at different locations and this is used 1 day per week) but some might find too firm. Wipe clean vinyl which is important in healthcare. Sturdy with good castors (2 lockable) but assembly instructions not so clear and I had to reassemble a second time to get it right. Comes with tools needed to assemble. Fine for my needs and good for my lumbar spine, adjusts easily with gas struts. However use everyday especially if your knees are resting on firm knee cushion might be uncomfortable for some.

Not so easy to get the right build. Otherwise a relief in the era of home working. I have prolapsed Discs and sciatica as well as other intermittent nerve pain. This is a great seating position and if the pressure on the knees gets too much I can adjust to a seated posture and still have my hips above knees as recommended by physiotherapists.

I purchased the chair/seat for my wife who works sitting for 6 to 8 hours most days, the chair has helped her correcting her posture that has subsequently relieved muscular discomfort she was experiencing.
