How long would a 10L bucket last feeding a pond with a mix of medium sized goldfish (about 20) and medium sized Koi (about 6)?

It is hard to say. I give my fish three handfuls every other day. But I have a huge pond with more fish and they could probably survive for a very long time finding their own food in the pond. My bucket last a few months.

Can anyone tell me the shelf life of this food. I don’t want to buy too much & it go off. Thano

To be honest I have no idea but I always buy big sizes for my pond fish and I get through quiet a bit. However when I have changed to a different type for Summer (or winter) the sticks I have left I use again the following season and they have never gone off. I would think you should be ok to buy larger sizes (depending on how many fish you have of course).

Will this feed tropical fish?

These sticks are intended for pond (i.e. cold water) fish and are probably too big for most tropicals to manage. I would not try them myself.

Is it suitable for bottom feeders?

this food floats so isn't suitable for bottom feeders.
