Doesn't whistle
Wife loves it but it takes a long time to realize your water is ready and boiling. Maybe its only our kettle but the thing doesnt whistle when water is ready. We have to set and put our ear up close to see if water is boiling. Overall love the size and look but never whistles.

Attractive addition to our cooktop. Seems sturdy. Whistle not very loud.
Looks nice and seems fine all-around. Whistle may not alert you if you're outside or in another room with white noise - a fan, radio, etc. Seemed a good value at Cyber Monday discount and has a retro/modern vibe that works great with our classic Wolf cooktop.

Super fast boiling. Easy to clean. I’m terrible at forgetting I have tea boiling on the stovetop but now I dont Worry about it!

Doesn't whistle.
Whistle does not work and the handle gets hotter than I like. I need a pot holder when using. It does heat nicely and washes well.

Too hot to handle
Only half the handle on this teapot is heatproof; the other half gets wicked hot. It's also a bit difficult to close the spout after you open it to pour. This teapot seems designed for decorators or stagers to use to accessorize a kitchen. It's beautiful to look at but totally impractical.
