This plate/ base is about what I expected when I ordered it. It is made of cheap plastic, but it works. If you plan on backing your bike into brick walls, or if you have a bad habit of tightening everything with an impact instead of a screwdriver, I wouldn’t recommend it very highly. Other than that, try not to drop it before you install it. I don’t expect you’ll have any problems out of it. Like they say,” You get what you pay for” (most of the time). Keep in mind, this is a three star review because of what it is. A tail light base should not have much to review. It should just be right. We should not have anything to say because it should not have as much room for error as to be made of anything other than metal. Yet, here we are. Buy it and save a few dollars if you want.

Very poor quality; this is the worst quality product I have ever seen made in China. Total garbage. It looks like the plastic is brittle and cheap. Don't waste your money on this.
