Excellent watercolor complexion kit
This watercolor kit was recommended by an instructor to me for painting faces. The colors dry quickly, look great, and can be mixed for endless complexions. The kit is also easy to use for travel as it is hand size.

Great little palette
I'm so glad I bought this. They have a good variety of shades and undertones so you can achieve a pretty wide range of skin colors. The only thing I'd change is maybe replacing the sparkly gold with a midtone red shade so I can achieve deeper blush tones for darker skin. The gold isn't bad by any means, it's just that it's not really a complexion shade. However I still really like it and use it for accents sometimes. Luckily I can get put a dot of my own red in the lid so it's no big deal.As for the paint quality, it's really nice. The colors wet quickly and are very pigmented. They're not chalky at all either. Definitely recommend this to people who have trouble mixing skin tones or simply want a dedicated complexion palette.

Great quality —color and tin
I love the tones. The outcome is rich and pretty professional in my opinion. The blush tone is very light but still pretty. If you are starting or don’t want to test over 6 colors to create a skin tone this palette is for you. I’d say it might be pricey for the quantity specially if you are on a budget but you can add 2 more half pans and the tin is of great quality. So I think in the end as an investment it’s worth it. 🙂

Good but the gold should be replaced
I’m a semi professional watercolor artist and bought this for more easy/fast natural tones (although I do love mixing my own colors). Just opened it and painted the swatch card- The colors are really well pigmented although need to test overall aging in sun etc. HOWEVER, the gold…. No idea what’s going on with it- the texture turned chunky right away and doesn’t pick up the pigment. Wished they would switch that for a different color in the palette. It’s not good.

Absolutely love
Painting, especially watercolor, wa never my strong suit, but watching a bunch of youtube artists, I wanted to try it again. I bought this set based off a want to expand my color collection, and a need for skin tones. The attention to detail, and quality, are stellar.Called confections, the pans come individually wrapped like little candies, and are creamy, and easy to use and blend well. Not only for complexion, either. The colors also work great for flora and fauna.

Super cute tin, love the vibrancy of the colors and an easy starting point for skin tones!
I’m a novice to painting and watercolor techniques, but I bought 2 of the prima sets (this complexion set and the tropical garden set I think?) and really love how vibrant they are! I think I maybe over worked my piece a tad, not sure, but I found the colors easy to use, nothing was broken or cracked, the paint pans sit nicely in the little travel tins (really love the size of the tins and the mixing palettes are great!) paint pans are interchangeable, which is great!I would have liked to see more of a red complexion color, though luckily I got that with the tropical garden set.

First purchase from this brand
This is a great collection of unusual colors not found in other sets. I did the swatches on the card that came with it. The paper of the card is a bit odd, but labeled and I am too lazy to make something else. I use a lot of water when I paint, so I did the same in the swatches. I do like the diversity of the "complexion" colors even though I probably won't be using them for people. Animals and birds are more my thing. Looking forward to adding this set to my collection. I don't yet know how they are to paint with. I put a fine point sharpie pen in the picture for size comparison. The tin it is in is a nice little feel good treat. Nostalgic. Besides, the enamel doesn't stain. That's a plus. Overall, I am pleased so far.
