Would not put a plastic seat in a powder room that is used often, this is just too flimsy. Fine for a guest room powder room though. Easy assembly, and it’s slow closing as advertised. Also easy to remove for cleaning. If it’s for an often used commode, highly recommend the extra couple bucks for the wood one. This is adjustable depending on where you place and secure screws. Fits American Standard flawlessly unlike other brands. Use the measurements on listing to determine if it’ll work for you.

I am very happy with my purchase. It was very simple to install, and the seat is comfortable as it can be for a toilet seat. I definitely recommend this item if you are looking for a new toilet seat. It is very sturdy and as you can see from the video, it makes absolutely no noise when you try to close the lid.

this arrived without bolt hardware and the hinge was bent. Toilet seat and cover don't line up exactly. If seat cover is nicely centered when it's closed, then the seat is crooked when it's open. Old model was a solid plastic seat. This one is arched over support feet that contact the toilet bowl. Hopefully it will be as durable.

Felt light weight and cheap. In my case, it was also poorly packaged and arrived missing the bolt cap. I ended up returning and going with a Kohler model instead, which was a bit more expensive but seems to be higher quality.

Bought this seat to replace another BEMIS I bought 25 years ago. It used the same mounting screws, so I just snapped it on the old mount and done. Love the slow closing seat and lid. No slamming it shut.

This seat broke the first time it was sat upon. We had another sta-tite bemis seat that lasted for years and years. This is not the same as what you’d buy from a plumbing supply store. Easy to install? Yes. Sturdy? Absolutely not.

The media could not be loaded. Most of the toilet seats on Amazon have some pretty terrible reviews about them, I just went for it with this one hoping for the best.I replaced my parents’ old toilet seat that was peeling and discoloured with this and installation was super easy (all you need is a flat head screwdriver). I like that it has an easy clean feature where you can remove the entire seat without unscrewing it. It also fit this American Standard toilet just fine. The only thing I noticed is that the seat sits slightly to the left of the toilet, but not so much so that it overhangs, so it is still sturdy. I wonder if this may be caused by tightening the screw more on one side than the other.Otherwise, the seat looks nice, and the slow close feature works well. No more loud thuds. It’s given the toilet new life.

Nos encantó el asiento. Quedó exactamente a la medida. Realmente tiene cierre lento y la calidad es de primera. Nos llegó antes de la fecha anunciada. Recomendamos éste producto ampliamente.

Muy bueno pero queda un poco apretado al cerrar. Creo que se aflojará con el tiempo.

Bemis est une bonne marque pour les lunettes de toilettes, en général. Néanmoins ce modèle, tout en plastique , même les vis et la charnière, ne vaut pas le prix demandé..Deuxième point, c'est ma faute, je n'ai pas fait attention: la distance de fixation sur la cuvette est fixe de 14 cm (standard anglais?). Et aucun jeu n'est permis, soit inutilisable pour des trous de fixation situés, dans mon cas, à 15,5 cm. Malheureusement j'ai essaye de la monter plus d'un mois après réception, soit pas de retour possible.
