Awesome light!
This light is awesome! Super bright and high quality. There is no reason to spend $150+ dollars on a flashlight. This holds on tightly and has the quick release. I highly recommend!!!

Definitely A Full Size Gun Light
Rail clamp is set a hair too far forward to fit on a 1911 Commander and most compact pistols. On any 5" barreled pistol with a rail probably it's great and will have the paddle switches right there straddling the trigger guard. Mine found it's home on the fore stock (right at my fingertips) of my tactical Circuit Judge doing Nighttime Bear Security work. Generally the blinding strobe and a few loud commands have been enough to deter lingering at the Black Bear Food Court (Garbage Can). No Grizzlies around here. Warning: these lights (all I've tested) get hot quickly and should be used with the same Common Sense Rule of: Keep Your Fingers Away From The Business End! Magnetic charging connection is great! Clamping system is great. Price is great. Light is intense and is perfect on the right gun.

Extremely Bright & Just as Good as a Streamlight TLR-H1
For $40, this light is a steal! I own a Streamlight TLR-H1 for comparison, and the CVLIFE light is just as bright (if not brighter) with a very similar throw. The CVLIFE light is also rechargeable whereas the TLR-H1 isn't. The CVLIFE does use a magnetic charger rather than Type-C, but that's not a problem for me. The light does feel durable (works fine after light drops), and I appreciate that the battery does not drain to zero after not using it for a while like how my other budget flashlights do. Also, I like the quick release lever on the CVLIFE better than the clamp screw on the TLR-H1. One thing the TLR-H1 does better is the light toggle switch is a bit more responsive. The CVLIFE has a very short delay, but these are millisecond differences which is not a big deal. The best part about the CVLIFE light is it is only $40 whereas the TLR-1 is $160+!

Very Bright - But Beware
Got this little guy in today and was very surprised! The housing seems very solid, the light itself is extremely bright, and the strobe feature is very disorienting. Not sure how the battery life is yet. But as of now I am very pleased and impressed, and would highly recommend this product to anyone - especially at the price point when compared to Olight, Streamlight, and the other leading brands. EDIT: I just fired it on my 9mm and it fell off before I could get through one full 20rd magazine. I adjusted it back as tight as I could get it, and had the same issue again. Lowering my rating from โญ๏ธ โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ down to โญ๏ธโญ๏ธ for this reason alone. A PDW whose light fails the second it needs to be employed renders the product useless in my eyes. Itโs a shame, because I really liked the light, other than this major fail point. * The seller offered to send out a new light that will hopefully not have the same issues, but time will tell. Overall great customer service, and a product that has a very attractive price point. Satisfied either way at this point.

If yours falls/slides off, check for the adjustable block under the light.
I initially had a negative review up of this light but figured out, I was at fault. First and foremost this light is incredibly bright and so much so just the brightness alone disorients you. The strobe function is even stronger. I wish the activation buttons were slightly harder to press as I turn this light on by accident, all the time. My initial issue was that the flashlight would not stay on the rail and easily came off. I have since realized there is an adjustable bar on the underside of the flashlight and can be moved. This is what sits in between each rail to hold it in place. Now that I have that figured out the light has not fallen off once.

Budget TLR-1??
If I can remember to update this later on down the road, I will. First impressions of the light are great. It is built well, easy to install, VERY bright, I love the throw lever, and most importantly, CHEAP! The only downside I have encountered so far, and it has been mentioned in previous posts, is that after about 15-20 round, the light came loose. I did tighten the ever loving hell out of the adjustment screw, and it seemed to be doing well after that. Also, for the sake of science, I ordered a cheap IWB kydex holster designed for a TLR-1, and with very very little modification (heat), this light fits like a glove. I will continue to abuse this light to see how it holds up to real world situations instead of being a holster weight. God speed!
