excellent pot
this pot is awesome, coupled with my Soto windmaster stove it boils water faster than my jetboil flash, i can fit my thin cloth, windmaster stove with triflex pot support and canister stand plus a 100g gas can inside with the lid on properley. the pot slots perfectly onto my Soto windmaster stove with the triflex pot support creating a fantastic wind barrier. In total it weighs less than my jetboil flash and performs better

Brilliant bit of kit
Bought as a gift for my fella. He says it’s the dogs doodaa. Boils super quick & nicely compact to fit on his bike with his camping kit. He loves it.

doesn't fit my stove well at all
i've used quite a fair bit now. its good - lighweight and practical. unfortunately its so awkwardly shaped for any stove piece that doesn't seem to be the (expensive) pocket rocket? slits are too narrow for my lamtor portable stove i got off amazon. its super tricky to get it to sit well and when it does one side gets stuck - i end up spilling water every single time. and when im in the middle of nowhere with limited water it really really gets frustrating. could be made better with a few adjustments to the width of the slits and the corrugations on the bottom so the stove forks don't get trapped if you buy I'd read another review that states what stove piece it specifically worked with because it seems ultra specific. found it more anger-inducing that anything after about 7 nights use in the wild

Lightweight and can store other kit inside.
Ultimately this 'FireMaple Petrel G3' is a lightweight yet tough pot that’s ideal for camping and outdoor cooking/heating. It is well reviewed on YouTube and once I got my hands in it, the reviews turned out to be accurate. The built-in heat exchanger works well, especially in breezy conditions, and it brings water to a boil quickly. It’s also easy to clean and pairs well with most stoves, though I did need to slightly bend the arms on my BRS-3000T for a proper fit. I also have a forclaz stove from Decathlon that fits the heat exchanger perfectly but wont store inside the pot. However it does fit in the included mesh bag that comes with the pot. I store my gas canister, BRS stove, and lighter inside the pot, with the handle acting as a clamp to keep everything secure. A bit of paper towel helps prevent rattling and is no doubt useful. I also bought a neoprene sleeve separately, which makes handling easier and improves insulation, it’s something I wish came standard. The capacity is marked as 600ml but it is actually much closer to 700ml. If you have it on a rolling boil at the max fill line it won't over flow but with noodles or anything that might cause foaming/bubbles it probably would hit the top or overflow if you filled past the max line. I mainly use it for coffee stops while out on the motorcycle or in the garden/greenhouse but it’s just as capable for boiling noodles or prepping dehydrated meals whilst camping. I have also used it on top of a wood burning stove with the neoprene removed, it does get caked in carbon/soot which is near impossible to remove from the fins. Thoroughly satisfied and would highly recommend it.

Good camping cook pot
Really good design and reminds me of a more lightweight JetBoil. The pot when coupled with the green peak stove works perfectly. It boils so quick and sits nicely. When the pot is empty with the handle open it can rock side to side as the handle weight throws it off, but with liquid in it’s not a problem. The lid on mine doesn’t get tight like previous reviews but could have been rectified by fire maple or something. Also the handle doesn’t actually lock the lid perfectly flat to the pot, there is slight movement up and down but it does stop it from falling off. I fit the soto thermostack insulated mug inside mine with the green peak stove, a folding titanium spork, lighter and teabags. I keep my 110g jetboil gas canister separate as I don’t use a stand and don’t want the bottom of the canister when dirty in my pot so it perfect for me.

Excellent heat exchanger pot
This is not titanium so you need to be a bit careful with it. It’s a great pot, the handle has a superb fold over lock system, closes over an excellent plastic flat lid that has a silicone tab. The lid does stick when the water is boiling, so I just don’t put the lid on fully. Fast boil times. I paired this with the Firemaple Buzz stove, it’s the correct angle and fits perfectly. I initially brought the stove and pot set but had to send it back due the Hornet stove provided being defective and very wobbly. So the buzz fits perfectly and sits a lot closer to the pot, in my opinion, it’s better than the hornet. Well made camping pot.

Great product and great value
Great product. I reviewed this to death before buying so was prepared for a good product. It's so light but tough, can fit a gas canister and stove inside easily with room to spare in the included sack for other items. Not disappointed and would recommend.

Superb!👍🏻
Wasn't sure if heat exchanger pits would work with an alcohol stove, but took a punt. It works very well. 650ml of cold tap water, boiled in 6m15s on my Trangia burner. Usually 650ml takes over 9 mins. Will save fuel in the long runm Well made, and very happy with it, only 2 minor niggles, 1. Lid gets stuck when boiling, but I now just rest it off centre slightly. 2. I cannot see the measurements on the inside of the pot anywhere near as easily as my other pots/mugs etc Neither of these minor gripes, would stop me buying it again. Worth just under £20.00 I paid. Highly recommend this.
