thank goodness for these because watching a baby struggle is honestly the worst feeling in the world. we had been trying everything for our poor little guy who hadnt gone in like four days and was just miserable and cranky as anything. i was a bit nervous about using a suppository for the first time but they are actually pretty small and easy to handle which helps when you have a squirmy infant on the changing mat. it worked remarkably fast like within maybe twenty minutes he was finally relieved and back to his usual happy self. i will say the packaging is a bit of a nightmare to get into when you are in a rush and i ended up needing scissors because the little plastic tabs wouldnt peel back right but thats a minor gripe for something that actually does the job. its much better than waiting for oral drops to kick in. definitely keep a box of these in the medicine cabinet just in case of emergencies. you should definitely grab a pack for peace of mind.

I really wanted this to work, but if you don’t insert it too deep then it’s very easy for the toddler to push out within seconds of inserting. It may work for babies, but found it very hard using it for a toddler that deliberately holds their poo. The suppository needs to stay at least 5-10 mins to melt and work, but find my baby pushes it within the first minute of inserting it.
