Haydn Richards Junior English Book 2 With Answers (Revised Edition)

My mother bought these books for me to use at home during my school days (in the 90's) as we didn't get any homework from school.Would definitely recommend now too. The exercises in the book are designed to assist with English language, punctuation, comprehension.There are examples given on each chapter and then my son can answer the questions. Can be used as learning aid for English.

Would recommend to all parents if they want to help improve their childrens grammar and understanding of the English language and composition of words

The Haydn Richard's books have been going for many years and still retain their excellence. I always use them for my students.

Excellent content, poorest print quality imaginable. Choice of paper and print technique (copies???) make for a very poor contrast, tiring do read.

Bought this book to help my bilingual son (age 8) who is in 3rd grade at a normal German state school. He reads English quite well and obviously understands and speaks, but his writing has not been trained at all. I wanted to support his spelling and a bit more knowledge on the theory of English, and this book is very helpful. There are short stories (just a paragraph), quite sweet pictures and then a double page of vobab/grammar/spelling exercises. The answers are in the back (so not on the same page, making it harder to cheat). We do a page every time we practice, first reading and then doing the exercises. Each double page is on a particular concept or topic (such as adverbs or silent letters). Very useful! Glad I found it.
