It is so simple to use (insesrt a finger tip into it), fast (gives you your readings in literally seconds) and accurate! I bought it to monitor my pulse. Whenever I feel a litte off, I use the pulse oximeter to measure my pulse, and it tells me what I suspected, that my heart is beating rapidly (usually 100 - 105 beats per minute).The unit is poered by 2 AAA batteries, and it comes with 2 rechargeable AAA batteries.It is so light and small, I jsut purchased a second one to keep in my purse so I can measure my pulse when I'm on the go.
