Excellent
Itโs not contractor grade. But itโs not contractor priced. If you have some concrete or rocks you need to drill for a project this will do it. Take your time. Donโt push the machine and it works fine. If I wear this one out. Iโll buy another and still not spend as much as name brands.

This rotary hammer drill is a solid performer!
This rotary hammer drill is a solid performer! The 2.5 joules of power make it perfect for drilling into concrete and masonry, and the SDS-Plus system ensures a secure fit with the included drill bits. Itโs easy to use with my Makita 18V battery, and the safety clutch adds an extra layer of protection when drilling through tougher materials. I was impressed with its performance and versatility. If you're looking for a cordless drill that packs a punch and gets the job done, this one is a great choice!

Great drill, but be prepared to buy SDS+ drill bits if you don't have them already.
Received this hammer drill recently and it does the job very well. Effortlessly drilled hollow concrete block with 1/4" & 3/8" SDS drill bits. Feels solidly made. My Makita batteries fit properly. Overall a very nice drill for the price, but if you're buying it for the drill bits, don't bother. Of the 4 drill bits this drill was shipped with, two were so badly manufactured and not at all close to straight that they could not be used with any type of accuracy. With a new drill bit from a reputable supplier, this drill is very affective at its job.

Drill Bit Lock Does Not Work
The drill bit lock does not work, almost every hole drilled the bit came out of the drill and was stuck in the hole. You have to try and position the drill on the bit relock it in place to get it out of the hole. I put about 200 screws in a block wall and more than half the time the bit came free from the drill. Buy the name brand one you will be so much better off.

Good for price
This is a good rotary drill for limited use. If you need your tools to make a living, then buy a professional rotary drill. I thought that I needed a rotary drill every couple of years. Since purchasing, I find that I use it a lot. Makes obsolete my non-SDS masonry bit collection. I have around twenty Makita tools, but this is my first knockoff tool that uses Makita batteries. Previously, i only purchased corded non-Makita power tools. Compared to a professional Makita rotary drill, this may take a little longer to make a hole, but itโs lightning fast vs a conventional drill.

Works really well.
I can put in about 30 plus 3/8x4 in concrete anchor bolts on a 5 ampere hour battery. No cords, awesome!. Works almost as good as my Bosch bulldog.
