This is a solid light
First off, I cannot speak to the waterproofness for diving purposes. I submerged it in a deep pot for an hour with no issues but winter in Ohio being what it is...no dive test. Having said that, this is a solid light. By that I mean it works well, and also it's on the heftier side. It's not uncomfortable having used it for over an hour, but you know it's there. If you're a hardcore weight-saver this isn't the one my friend, but otherwise I have nothing bad to say about it. It has good seals and a usb-c chargeable battery. Easy to operate with gloves on. The headband is pretty unsexy, but it works very well, especially on hats and watch caps and the like. Highly recommend.

One. Bright. Headlamp.
So truth be told, i don't do a lot of diving below like 10-20' or so. Mostly snorkling, so i can't speak to the ability of this to survive deep-sea levels of pressure. But for what i've used it for, it's great. First off, it's solid. The light itself feels like it's made of a super solid hunk of aluminum and can take a beating without any sort of issues. A feature i REALLY like is the rotary knob on the side. Instead of pressing buttons and cycling through light settings, i just turn a knob and can go from low to high to strobe in an instant. No fussing around. The beams are nice and bright at any setting and are focused without being a pinspot. In the open air, the beam diffuses, and lights up a good amount of the woods or outdoors ahead, and in the water it's a narrower line of illumination that still brings all surprises in front of you into the light. The strap is also good quality, as it's made of thick rubber to help keep it waterproof and it keeps the light in PLACE. To keep the whole thing even MORE waterproof, there's no charger port on the outside. You gotta unscrew the cap on the opposite end of the light, remove the battery, and charge it via USB-C. I really like that feature as well, because it's one less hole for water to get in. I use this for hiking and camping... and while i got one chance to snorkel with it before it got too cold (worked great for that trip) i can't speak to it's repeated use underwater. I will update once i get more info about that

Can’t buy extra batteries
I want to be able to use it for more than just an hour.

Built well, bright, but no beam adjustment
I got this light for caving, rather than diving. However, caving lights must be waterproof for short submersion and in order to withstand the high humidity (much most lights cannot). This one does great in the humidity, it is very bright and fits great over a helmet without slipping. The love that the battery can be removed and charged separate from the housing so that I can charge without taking up a huge space on my shelves. The only thing that takes a star is that the beam is NOT adjustable which is really important when moving from tight to large open spaces. As a result it will only be a backup light for me.

great when needed
This is great headlamp overall, but you're only really going to want it for underwater applications. I thought I'd use it for night-time roaming at the camp site and night fishing, but I haven't had much occasion for use. I suppose this is ideal for underwater applications, but it makes use of a b26 battery, which has an integrated plug for charging. Unfortunately, that means you have to remove the battery to charge it. Taking the battery in and out is a bit annoying, and I suppose for my uses, this doesn't make a lot of sense since most of my life is lived (99.9% of it) above water. I'll keep it in with my adventure gear and likely find that the charge on the battery has dissipated by the time I want to use it.

Great waterproof headlight!
This is a great headlight for your underwater needs. It's mainly made for scuba diving, and I can see it being very effective for that use case. The light is extremely bright, which is essential for cutting through water. The headband is solid, being made out of rubber. It feels very thick and durable, and I expect it to last a long time without snapping. The actual light mount is solid, allowing the light to smoothly swivel up and down. The light is controlled by a 4-step switch on the right side. There are 4 modes: off, low beam, high beam, and strobe. I like the use of a switch instead of a singular button (like most other headlights), as you don't have to deal with pressing the button repeatedly to get to your desired mode. It just makes it a lot easier.A couple of side notes. First, this headlight is not great as a general purpose headlight. If I try to put it directly on my head, the rubber strap really pulls at my hair and it gets uncomfortable very fast. You can tell where were made to be worn over a scuba suit. Secondly, every time you want to charge the headlight, you have to unscrew the battery cap, take out the battery, and charge it using the USB-C port on the battery itself. It's a bit irritating to have to pull the battery out every time I want to charge the headlight, but if that's what it took for them to make the light completely waterproof then so be it.Overall, great headlight for all your water related activities. Highly recommend for all you scuba divers out there!

Powerful and durable headlamp
This has replaced every other headlamp I owned. It's bright and powerful, sturdy, and rechargeable, and good for work underwater and on land. I don't really see myself needing anything more, and I'd recommend this one to anyone looking for a good headlamp, even if they don't need one waterproof or resistant.

Got hot after 10 minutes and then wouldn't turn off!
I was excited to get this cool item, and then very disappointed when after 10 minutes I felt it getting very hot...I tried to adjust the beam and found the adjustment dial stopped working--It only kept one setting on. Then I went to turn it off and found that I couldn't! I had to unscrew the battery in order to turn it off.Defective product, very disappointed.
