Great filters if you keep up on tank maintenance
These are perfect for my tank 5 gallon I got on here. The tank is glass, which I love and wouldn’t get plastic. So durability is great. My snails and beta are so happy and keep growing so huge from all the space. There is no noise and the tank does not collect algae but that’s due to my live plants that I have in my tank. These work great if you keep your gravel or sand or whatever base you use super clean. If you don’t keep your substrate clean, you will go through at least 1 of these every 1-2 weeks.

Easy swap, works well!
These replacement cartridges fit my NICREW Slim filter perfectly and keep the water looking clear. The carbon helps with light odors, and the flow stays strong after swapping in a fresh one. The six‑pack is convenient so I always have extras on hand. They do get saturated over time, but with regular changes they work reliably and are a good value for this filter.

Quiet and good water flow
So far so good. I have a 3 gallon and my old filter that came with the tank could not keep up. I'm really liking the water flow and different levels I can have it at. So far really quiet and was easy to assemble.

Filter for nicrew tank
They work really well. But I will say that you do need to change them like every 3 weeks or once a month because they're typically for a very small tank. So the turnovers faster than a larger filter would be.
