Did exactly what we purchased it for. The only negative thing was a lot of straps to deal with.

We got this last minute when we realized we couldn't fit everything in our car with a large dog crate. Easy to install and got our stuff to and from over 1000 miles with no issues! The quality seems pretty darn good.

Drove with this on a Mazda CX-5 SUV with no roof racks for a round trip of around 5 hours each way. No issues at all. The instructions are clear. For installing/setting it up, I'd recommend a ladder/stool and 2 people.

I’ve only used it twice now and the outside zipper track has already started peeling away from the bag in several spots. Not sure how much longer that part will hold up

We went on a road trip, about 5 hrs each way, and this thing held up great. Luckily it's waterproof because it rained the whole way there. We were able to fit about 4 large suitcases and 2 small ones in it. I do have roof racks on my car, so we tied the straps to it. We put a couple additional straps on just in case. We had no issues whatsoever. Great cargo bag.

We always took my husband's big truck when we traveled to see family, but now we can also take my Rogue to get stuff back and forth but have easier parking while in town. This stayed put and help up in the rain. We just had to make sure to have some extra blankets and pillows to fill up some empty space to keep it nice and taught.

Traveling at 65 and 70 mph for over two hours there was no issue of having to stop and rescue bag on roof and it gave us the extra room inside the suv for the whole family including the dog. This was used on a Ford Escape with two roof bars. It's easier with two people to attach, but can be done alone.

First of all - love the storage bag. Has handles and it's easy to get the carrier bag back into it. I drive a large SUV and have never really needed the extra storage - but now we travel with the dog and have to put the third row up which leaves me with about 1 foot of trunk. This is the perfect solution. I would be nervous leaving anything of value in it if I had to stop, but frankly, it isn't any harder to break into the car if someone really wants to steal from me. This is a thick vinyl and waterproof. It held all of our suitcases with room to spare.
