I do not have a wheat allergy but this would be contraindicated for those who do. (At this point I’m giving 4 stars instead of five because I’ve only been taking it for two weeks).

Previously, I used a synthetic spermidine (Spermidine trihydrochloride) until I found this product--which is made from fermented wheat germ. Its potency is much higher because I only need to take one capsule vs. six (!) tablets from the synthetic to get the same dose of spermidine. It's not even close. Liposomal coating means that these capsules will survive stomach acid to deliver the dosage where it can be absorbed. It's also quite nice that these supplements come as a two-pack, which means I know to re-order when I open up the second bottle. Spermidine is said to make the body think it's in a reduced calorie mode, promoting autophagy or removal of damaged cells and proteins. It is thought to reduce inflammation, promote liver function, and improve cognitive functions. Supplements may help to increase a person's lifespan, and who wouldn't want to live longer and be healthier?

I was attracted to the once a day dose, and the liposomal feature (although most research suggests it is not necessary). I am trying it for hair growth and skin improvement. I will see how it works. It is a smooth black gel capsule that is easy to swallow and has no taste or aftertaste. No bad tasting burps, no stomach upset. So far so good. I just hope it works!
