Great light
There are things Iike about it. Short, the duel clip (pants/hat), the power button on the side, easy to carry, brightness levels, and run times. It seems solid enough built but I haven't had it long so time will tell. Purchased 2 of them for Christmas, one for myself and one of my boys who needs a good light. What I don't like about it is the diameter. Compared to my G22 it is much fatter and in my every day clothes seems bulky in comparison. Like having a wallet too fat. Not much, but just enough to be bothersome to me. If you were to fall on it, it would not feel good. I have fallen/tripped with the g22 and it didn't cause any issues. I don't think this would do the same. I also do not like the proprietary charging cable and battery. These inevitably need to be replaced and I don't like that I can't just get a replacement anywhere. I plan to use this as my every day carry and will keep the G22 for all my camping and hunting trips. Keeping a few AAA around is easier and more reliable in my opinion when it counts. A great light with many uses and the magnetic base is also a great option for working on things around the house/ranch. Very bright.

Excellent - Get One! (Baton3 Issue Resolved)
OLight Baton4 Rechargeable EDC Flashlight in Orange (ASIN B0DYDKMGZX $55) The Baton3 had a design flaw that caused it to shut down when max brightness was selected. This completely locked up the flashlight until it was connected to a charger for a few seconds. None of the Baton4 reviews cited this problem so I ordered two. This one is fantastic in every way! Quality of design, quality of fabrication, size, weight and charging are all outstanding. Brightness is what it's claimed to be and is more than adequate for any application within 30 yards. The color temperature is daylight white (~7000k?). Battery life is very good and seems to track with the specification. Recharge time is very good. My test from dead to fully charged was 50min as opposed to the specified 60min. I confirmed satisfactory water resistance by submerging it in the sink for 5 minutes. I didn't test it to spec (submerged at 1 meter for 30 minutes). The control switch operation is the same as all my OLights so is intuitive to me. If your accustomed to momentary press to change brightness and long press for on/off this one will take some getting used to. The burnt orange finish is gorgeous and the anodization is uniform, even on every surface of the complex pyramid texturing. The clip is very versatile and securely fixed the light to backpack web straps, belts, denim pockets, quick dry polyester pockets, and ball cap brims. My only CIP suggestion is to update the charge cable to USB-C.

Best flash light I have owned so far, love it !
This arrived a few days ago, i was like wtf, because i thought it was supposed to be bigger, but after i seen how bright it gets and how long the battery last in other modes, plus how fast it charges, magnetic, water proof, battery removable, clip you can clip on hat, plus it has strobe to, aluiminum material, love it, i gave my old flash light to a buddy, it was a good flash light but i like this one way better ! lol

Amazing little flashlight
I’ve been carrying a NiteKing M10 in my pocket for almost 10 years. It’s worn through several Cargo pant pockets (!) but it has served me well and is really bright, using a rechargeable EBL 14500 battery. Recently, I invested in a Micro Maxpedition EDC pocket pouch and have been able to add to my EDC carry list without too much bulk in my front pocket. Having the larger NiteKing in my pocket, in addition to the pouch, is impractical. I needed a much smaller flashlight. After a lot of research, I ordered the Baton 4 (in black/blue). It was a tough call at nearly $70 for such a tiny thing but, what a tiny thing! I was really tempted by the green/gold version. That looks gorgeous. However, I know this light will get dirty and scratched over time. Black is better in the long run. . When I got the OLIGHT in my hand, it was even smaller than I’d imagined. It actually fits really well in my pouch because it is so small but I decided to keep it in my pocket as that makes it more quickly accessible, especially in the dark. I like the fact that you can easily lock the power button, with a long press when off. My NiteKing often warmed my leg before I realized it was on. I’ve already used the magnet on the end, to hold the flashlight above my bench in my unpowered garage. That feature is very useful and can even act as a retrieval magnet for dropped items when a cord is attached via the pocket clip. The double-bent pocket clip not only allows for clipping on a pocket flap, but for clipping on the peak of a cap, as a headlight. The light weight means the cap doesn’t drop down at all. . The beam intensity and battery power LED indicators on either side of the power button are not visible when your thumb is on the button. They extinguish fairly soon after a button press and often, I look, see just my thumb, remove my thumb, and they are dark. Useful though. The power button has been reduced in height from the Baton 3. It is now almost flush with the body. That actually makes it harder to locate by feel. I’ve learned to feel for the pocket clip in my grip and the button is opposite that. I’d actually prefer a more tactile button, using the lock feature to avoid accidental operation. With gloves on, that power button is really tricky to find! . I’ve not used it long enough for the temperature control to kick in and kick down the brightness when in Turbo and High. Turbo is awesome. Even high is fantastic. Incredible when you consider the size of this light. Low and medium are often enough, though I must admit I love a bright white light when out in the dark. You have more time when that man-eating animal comes for you. 😊 Moonlight mode at 0.5 lumen is handy when you don’t want to disturb your partner, though you need dark-adjusted eyes for it to be really effective. The controls are easy to learn and operate. . My photos were taken at Low, Medium, High, and Turbo. The tree is 60ft away and the garage doors, 130 feet away. The beam has a fairly large hotspot, but also a wide outer ring of light. My NiteKing has a much tighter beam and is not as bright. I guess that’s 10 years of development progress! 😉 . I do like that I can have separate spare batteries for my NiteKing and can swap them out when the current battery is dying. As I understand it, you can still swap out for commercial versions of the Baton 4 battery but you can’t use the magnetic charger and charge in the flashlight. Not sure what other features also don’t work, maybe nothing else is affected. Only the OLIGHT proprietary battery allows that. I didn’t want to spend $100 for the charging case kit. $70 was enough and I’d be carrying a bulky charging case around with me. I already have a slimline, pocketable, INUI, 10,000 mAh, power bank. . Overall, I am really pleased with the Baton 4. It’s proven well worth the money, especially since I won’t be wearing out pockets anymore! 😊

OUTSTANDING. POWERFUL, COMPACT & DURABLE. BUY IT!
Absolutely Outstanding EDC Flashlight! The OLIGHT Baton 4 is hands down one of the best everyday carry flashlights I've ever owned. The build quality feels premium, solid, and reliable without being bulky. For a compact light, the 1300 lumens brightness is insanely impressive — it easily lights up an entire yard or trail in the dark. I love the 6 different light modes because it gives me total control whether I’m indoors, outdoors, or in an emergency situation. The magnetic charging cable is super convenient and fast, and the battery life has been consistently strong. Plus, the IPX8 waterproof rating actually delivers — this thing holds up in rain, drops, and real outdoor use. Perfect for camping, car glove box, night walks, or emergency prep. It’s small enough to pocket comfortably but powerful enough to be your go-to light in any situation. If you want a durable, ultra-bright, professional-quality EDC light — this is the one. Highly recommended!

Almost the perfect pocket flashlight
Pros: insanely bright on the highest level! I could light up my entire backyard as though I had a floodlight in my hand. It also has 3 other levels- moonlight for gentle guiding light, low and medium for different levels of need. Also magnetic so you can fix it to surfaces for working, such as a car's hood. It is only the size of my thumb. The textured case lends itself to a good grip, which is important for the size. It also has a solid pocket clip. Bad- magnetic charging base. Why? If I go anywhere, I need to bring this one extra proprietary cable. It is also a short cable, so hopefully you have a free outlet near shelf space. Lost one star for that design.

Excellent flashlight for EDC!
Seems to be a great light so far. I also have the ArkPro Lite, which is a bit more pricey and features red and UV lights. The Baton4 is more of a no-frills light that equals the ArkPro Lite in brightness and features for the white LED, without the other light colors. It has different brightness levels, up to 1300 lumens, and has a strobe feature for signaling or as a disorientation/distraction feature if used as a tactical light. The Baton4 is about $20 less than the ArkPro Lite, and subtracts the extra red and UV light features. If you're still using the old-school MagLites, don't hesitate to make the switch to these modern EDC lights. They are many times brighter than a MagLite, are far more carry-friendly, and are rechargeable. The Olights would be great for maintenance work or any job that requires occasional flashlight use.

Little Beacon
This is a very handy little light. It is powerful and holds a charge long enough to be useful. It is at home in the hand or clipped on the bill of my cap to be hands-free. I like the color and design features along with the sturdy design. The little magnetic charger is super cool for just plugging it in and sticking it somewhere until it's ready to go again. This is an excellent light and I regard it with great appreciation clipped in my pocket or on the bill of my ball cap. Work light, convenience, or in a pinch it provides a blazing light or just enough to see where you're going, whatever you prefer. If I had money to burn I'd buy a dozen of them and give them to friends and family. It might be worth it anyway.
