Good quality :) (for beginners)
So far so good :)Update: Having bought and used Winsor paint now it’s safe to say that this set is not worth the money. Following many tutorials I was always surprised how people get this titanium white color, how they paint such bright colors over dark and now question was answered. They all have had very pigmented paints. Shrek as well as bushes next to the house were painted with Winsor (one very thin layer). Rest was painted with this set, getting angry many times as the paint would get transparent or blend with other colors.

Really great overall, but first...!
This is a fantastic set of ready to go colors, and I feel hopeful for many years of use..But first! There are a few things to be aware of, like, gouache is a water based paint, and it will dry into crumbly cakes. This "jelly" state is not the way it will always stay unless you give it lots of attention. It will always be useable again later by wetting it with your brush to pick up pigment. (Or you can moisten your pallet with a spray bottle or dropper. Many of you probably know all of this already.)Opening these cups can certainly be messy, so be prepared. Some of my cups were a little more dried out than others. Also, some had a little pigment settling/separation by the time they arrived here. I manually added a touch of water to each cup, mixed each really well, and then arranged them in an order that works for me.After all of this, I am intentionally letting mine dry now that they are mixed and balanced.Working with the "jelly" state is goopy and strange and kind of a waste of paint in my opinion. I much prefer wetting them and picking up as much or as little pigment as I need. Also, letting them dry will help keep them, and other things, safe from random life happening (like anything touching or dropping into the cups, like a paper towel already has, or an accidental touch with my hand, or fur baby hair, and also, just paint getting brushed from one cup into another!)The carrying case itself is much more sturdy and better than I expected. My particular set DID come with the brushes, and the brushes are also much better quality than I expected, even better than some sets that I paid quite a bit for!Do be prepared for your own mixing palette/plate as the lid of the case has a foam layer to secure the cups better. My gouache set was shipped in it's actual product packaging only, so I'm glad it made it safely with out protection from a shipping box around it.All in all, I'm really pleased with this set so far, and happy to have saved several dollars from what the other two bigger names are charging for their similar sets, and frankly, the clean case without a named label printed on it is an aesthetic plus for me too. :)

Really nice set
We have not had the set for anywhere close to 6 months, after which some mention taking measures about drying, but my 6 year old was beside himself with the palette and found it very easy to use the cups. The separate jelly cups made for easier handling in several ways imo, but especially with projects shared with kids, just provide some easy instructions for them to keep them nice. I understand the quality is good for any applications. Not dreadful, which is what general watercolors can sometimes seem like opened up with the kids.
