Avoid!
No result. Disgustingly greasy sugar scrub that takes about 10 min to wash away. The mask is awful, dry and gives no result at all.

Love the coconut lip scrub, not so sure about the comedy lip mask!
The Coconut 2-step lip kit is a bit of a mixed bag.Stage 1:I really like this - it is is a sweet, coconuty lip scrub, which works really well - but is rather temptingly sugary when you know that not all of the ingredients are ones you should eat and the feeling on your lips as you scrub is rather like having sugar on your lips whilst eating a doughnut - fortunately, you can apply a small amount, scrub and rinse and it is very effective. I had very dry lips before using this and it sloughed away lots of dead skin and softened my lips as well. The amount in the pack is plentiful for a number of application - so I slightly wish that this was in a small resealable tub or jar, so that I could use it again and again. After rinsing off, my lips feel slick from the coconut oil for a few minutes, but this soon sinks in and my lips are left feeling soft.Stage 2:This is both funny and slightly disappointing at the same time. It would be perfect for a pamper night with girly friends as you get to sit and look ridiculous and laugh a lot. I did this whilst sitting chilling out with my girls and there was plenty of laughter as I sat wearing my lip mask which looks like an oversized pair of hot pink lips. Rather than utterly glam, I think I looked more like the Joker, but it was a giggle to sit for 15 minutes with these on, wrapped around my lips. For the first 10 minutes, I didn't think that they were doing anything at all and thought maybe it was just an extra moisturiser, despite warnings on the packet to take off if it tingles too much. However, in the last five minutes, I began to feel a warm tingle on my lips and thought that it was starting to work. After removing it, I couldn't really see any change to the shape or colour of my lips at all, but my lips continued to tingle and my lips felt a bit sticky. I let this continue a bit longer as it hadn't said that I needed to rinse it off, but the stickiness started to bug me after a further 15 minutes, so I went and washed any residual product off. The tingling continued even after rinsing off, but lessened. When I looked in the mirror again, I could see a slightly change to my pout - but only a little - this isn't going to turn thin lips into bee stung lips by any means. If the lip scrub came as a separate product, I think I would buy a pot, but I wouldn't buy this product again for the lip mask stage, I would rather use a different lip plumping product or a lip moisturiser after the lip scrub.

Sugar lips...
We've tried a couple of Oh K! products and enjoy the little rituals and the cute Korean-style packaging but they do seem to promise more than they can ever deliver, much like any other skin care items I guess. This 2-Step Lip Kit is fun to use, does improve the overall smoothness and condition of your lips but fails to deliver any real change to your pout-ability.The first step is to use a sugar scrub on your lips to remove dry skin and prep the area for the serum coming next. The scrub comes in a little sachet and you get far more than you'll need for a single application and there's no way to reseal the sachet. I ended up using the leftover on my hands to remove some dry skin but wished I hadn't - the scrub is based on coconut oil (so the sugar crystals don't just dissolve away) and it's quite difficult to wash away afterwards. It's fine on your lips, the coconut oil leaves them moisturised and plumped but on your hands it's just too oily. The second step is to remove a serum-soaked cupid's bow shaped paper mask from its protective plastic pack and apply it to your lips and then leave it for 15 minutes to allow the serum to work. The lip mask is bright pink and makes you look like a cross between The Joker and Leigh Bowery but why shouldn't beauty pampering be fun too? After the allotted time had passed I removed the mask and didn't really notice any difference at all in pout amount, but the lips were left looking moist and healthy. In the end it was a kit of two halves, the first half was effective and pleasant to use and if that sugar scrub was available to buy on its own I'd recommend it and probably consider buying it because it did make a noticeable difference. The second half looked more fun but didn't really achieve much and we were left disappointed. It's a fun kit if you want to pamper yourself and would make a nice stocking stuffer or hamper gift but it's not the most effective lip plumper product we've tried.

Great
A great product for a pamper box for when you need to chill and beautify yourself. Easy to use even if you feel a bit silly with the lip mask.

Didn’t work for me.
I was disappointed with this product. I find the exfoliation way too rough for any part of me, let alone the sensitive area of the lips. The next stage was a complete let down as I felt no tingling at all, mind you the stupid looking paper lip applicator kept falling off, and I and saw no difference in the fullness of my lips afterwards.

Nice treat!
This is a nice treat for your lips. It’s easy to use and my lips felt and looked better afterwards...I just wish they had used jars as there was a lot of waste and you could use what was left for a second treatment...I put the leftovers into tiny jars I got from the make up counters in a department store...and put it into the fridge and used again the next day!!

Effective, but a faff and eco unfriendly.
This two-step lip treatment includes a scrub and moisturising mask. Both products were pleasant and reasonable effective. Following the sugar scrub, there is a sopping-wet comedy lips moisturising mask which you apply to the lip area for 15 minutes. While my lips felt moisturised, they were no more so than a moisturiser applied without a mask (which would be less faff). I don’t love the single-use trend. There is so much wastage. There is far more scrub than is required for one use, but no way to store the surplus. And the large packaging seems to serve only to market the company at the expense of the environment and ease-of-use.
