I saw a video of someone using this on a camping trip, and bought one for my son, who promptly fell in love with it. Apparently it has cult status in his generation: He posted a video of him slicing a tennis ball by dropping it on the Nikos, it's that sharp. I'm ordering mine next month.

Great knife!

Absolutely an amazing heavy duty butcher knife. This item has zero qualms doing its job! Slices and dices through the meats with ease. The knife overall is hefty in weight, but that helps the blade glide through the meat so effortlessly. The etching in the blade is a nice feature that adds a little pizazz to the appearance of it. The full tang through the handle is nicely done and put together well. The sheath that comes with it, is just as equally as impressive. It is definitely heavy duty and made to protect the blade of the knife. We only handwash this knife, and then immediately dry it and put it back in it's sheath, so rust and other corrosion that could occur doesn't develop. So far, I have found nothing I can say negatively about this piece. Absolutely something every kitchen needs.

This knife is cheap dollar store quality. I expected more with their great instagram social media videos. It is not good. Cheap leather covering. They could have spent 2 more minutes and stamped the other side of the leather. I will not give this to my dad who is an executive chef for 40 years.

This knife is impressive and super handy in the kitchen. It’s sharp right out of the box and great for slicing meat, chopping veggies, and tackling bigger cuts of food. The blade is wide and heavy, which makes it powerful, but it might take a little time to get used to the weigh (this ain't your Mom's typical kitchen knife folks!).It’s sturdy and feels solid when you’re using it, with a comfy wooden handle that’s easy to grip. The knife looks really cool too, with its unique design, and it even comes with a leather sheath for storage.If you’re cooking at home and want a knife that can handle just about anything, this is a great choice. It’s sharp, durable, and makes prep work a lot easier.I dont know a ton about kitchen knives and their maintenance. But I do know this is a high quality item (at least to me as it's the nicest knife I have in my kitchen). So I want to be sure to take care of it and preserve it as best I could. I would highly recommend not placing it in the dishwasher. Your best bet is to hand wash and dry immediately to avoid rust and any other degradation.
