I've been becoming a fan of MC books lately and this one was like WOAH!!!With her innocence stolen at the age of fifteen, skin branded, thought for dead and her father murdered, Juliette Portland sets out to seek revenge on the parties responsible."Today my name is Juliette Portland, but tomorrow I will wake up as someone else entirely. There is a hint of a potential romance between Sammi and Jace or possibly between Sammi and Elliott, who happens to be the cop who saved her life. He fell in love with her but her demons from the past put a strain on their relationship and he knew there was nothing he could do to help her so he left.Three years later she is back and there is definitely chemistry there. I also feel the chemistry between her and Jase. I'm hoping for a Sammi/Jase HEA but I'm also loving me some Elliott. We'll just have to wait and see where Lili St. Geramin takes us. A journey I'm so ready to take.Seven Sons is a RAW...DIRTY...SUSPENSEFUL read that will keep you on the edge of your seat craving more. If you are looking for romance, this is not the book for you...if you are looking for downright raw an gritty...then this is the book for you. I'm hoping the romance will come with the future novella's. I have to say that I'm a sucker for romance. Bring me raw and grittiness with some hot romance and I'm totally on board. I read this novella so fast...Now I'm ready for more.So, bring on Six Brothers and thank goodness it's already out. I'm stoked to get started with the 2nd book in this series!!! The ReviewWhen I seen this cover and then read the blurb, I knew I had to buy it.  It's dark, sexy, revenge filled and even though it's a story about innocence lost, it still holds a hint of innocence somehow in that mix.  This is the first book I've read written by Lili Saint Germain, heck it's the first time I've ever heard of her!  But I'm so glad I took that chance.Juliette - AKA Sammi, was 15 yrs old when Dornan Ross decided to use her as a form of revenge against her father.  He and his 6 sons, took it upon themselves to rape and beat her until she was a breath away from dying, before Dornan took her to the hospital where he would be viewed as a hero who saved her. Later when everyone else was busy, he'd come back to finish what he started.Jase- The seventh son, who stood up against his father and six brothers and refused to join in. He tried to save her as they raped her.  They held him and forced him to watch.  Jase and Juliette had actually been friends, childhood sweethearts, grown up together since their fathers were in the same Motorcycle Club. All of that changed the second Dornan decided he wanted to be the leader.  All of that changed the night Juliette Portland "died" in the hospital and the night she was saved by a cop.Elliot- The cop who risked his life to save Juliette and fake her death.  He even gave up his career, to make sure she stayed "dead" to Dornan and his sons, including Jase. The cop who tried to heal a broken girl, who fell in love with her, who finally had to walk away because he knew he couldn't save her from herself.Now, Juliette is back for revenge. She has a new name, new face and she's not that innocent little girl. She's a woman on a mission to kill and if that means screwing Dornan Ross to get close to him so she can pick them off one by one, then she'll do it. If that means looking Jase in the eyes and lying to him about who she is and pretending she never loved him, that she doesn't have feelings for him still....then she'll do it.  If that means breaking Elliot's heart again, she'll do it.Will she?Can She?Would she?My final thoughts:  This book is far from what you would expect. It's more complex. You are not only reading what Juliette went through, you're her. You feel her emotions. The sick screwed up way she responds to Dornan, the way she hates him and can't wait to destroy him before killing him.  The girl you still see when she's with Jase, the night of her rape, the brutality of what she'll now go through with willingly to continue her mission.I've read many reviews that say the one thing they have issues with was how Dornan becomes so infatuated with her so quickly...that it's unrealistic. You have to understand...Dornan thinks he's invincible, his sons are invincible...he thinks he's untouchable for goodness sake!! That NOBODY would dare screw with him, let alone some petite young girl.  He has 7 sons who will protect him. He's also an aging horn dog who has a 21yr old girl who willing to screw him.  She's his wet dream come true!! Why the heck wouldn't he become obsessed with her? He's a sick jerk with a God complex!!And then her mother!! Let's just say I seriously wanted to kill that witch.After everything Dornan has done...you darn straight she's going to exact her revenge and nothing is going to stop her.  But the oldest son, Chad, who was the first one to rape her and steal her innocence..he suspects something. Will she get caught or will she maintain her disguise? Jase is also a suspicious. Does she dare tell him who she is? She can't take that chance of him betraying her. Can she? Or will Jase be the first one who needs to go? Will he be the first who dies by her hand?How far IS Juliette willing to go?  Find out! Read this book! You'll love it! I will warn you, this IS a novella series. 102 pages. It also has a "cliffhanger" but again, it's a soft one...and honestly, it's to be expected. You can't really think she'll wrap all this up in one book. But seriously, the cliffhanger isn't that bad. Heck I personally don't view it as a cliffhanger.  It's just part of the procedure of a series. But no worries, you won't have to wait long for next one. Bittersweet and intriguing! Can’t wait to read the next book! Dark…. Had me hating. Easy and quick to get it done.

Juliette is a survivor. Dornan Ross and his six sons destroyed her life and her innocence. After years of pain, she has decided that revenge is the only answer...This was an intense little book. It does contain dark themes in detail, so if you don't like that, move on to something more fluffy.I generally don't like stories centered around abuse and rape. I normally avoid them because they make me feel very uncomfortable.But even though the violence and rape are handled realistically, it still comes off well. You feel for Juliettte, and understand her drive for revenge.Juliette is not a victim.She has meticulously planned everything; from the plastic surgery, and new persona Sammi; to infiltrating the Gypsy Brothers base. There's something cold and methodical about everything she does, but without losing her humanity.I was absolutely hooked from the start, and was sorry to see the book end. It is short, it is abrupt; but I wouldn't want it any other way. I love how Germain balances out Juliette's revenge, and her reconnection with the youngest son, Jase. I can't see how she could do that as convincingly if it wasn't a novella for each target.I am definitely continuing with this series! And I would recommend checking it out, especially as it's free to download!

Seven Sons (Gypsy Brothers #1) by Lili St. Germain was my first intro into the world of bikers, and I have to say what a good into it was.I didn’t know what to expect when I started it even after reading the synopsis, but soon realized that this series was certainly going to be no fairytale romance. I was dark, raw and twisted, and about one girl’s need for revenge and I loved it.Confusius said, "Before embarking upon a journey of revenge, dig two graves…. I planned to dig seven”I devoured this book in a few hours; I was captivated by so many feelings, and emotions. It just didn’t t want to put it down I was horrified, disgusted and sad at what Juliette went thought at the hands of Dornan, who is a crazy psycho, and most of his sons.”I was broken, destroyed…..What was born as fear and grief has long since blossomed into hatred and rage.”Flashbacks allow you to learn a little about the past, her relationship with Elliot and Jason, Dornan youngest son, who is so not like his brothers. I loved Juliette POV as you get to know her, how she feels about what she has to do and why.“Once I set my sights on vengeance, life made perfect sense”Lili St. Germain had me on the edge of my seat wondering how the story was going to play out. How Juliette was going to inflict her revenge her first, and when she did, I wanted to high five her and said well-played.Overall, I just loved Seven Sons. Even thought it was a novella if didn’t feel rushed at all. Lili’s amazing storytelling and writing hooked me from the start. I love the suspense, the revenge, and the darkness of the story, and I can’t wait to move on to Six Brother, which lucky for me is sitting on my Kindle.

It is violent and cruel. Parts are quite sickening actually and yet the flow, the writing, the switch between past and present tense hooked me in and didn't let up until the end. There's no doubt about it, Lili Saint Germain can write!My only gripe is the length. Seven Sons can be comfortably read in a couple of hours and knowing that this series will be broken down into novellas of seven is a little frustrating if I'm honest, as this could quite possibly have been one hell of a standalone that would easily rival the best of the best. But, I can't deny that I will be continuing with this series because as an MC crime thriller goes, Gypsy Brothers, #1 has so far proved to be one heck of a story!Dark erotica/ Biker MC fans need to read this!!!

This is the first book of the brilliant series The Gypsy brothers by Lili Saint Germain. This is a re read for me of all 7 books before she releases the last book called Zero Hour.The story of Dornan Ross and his 7 sons and Juliette Portland, who's father was framed by Dornan Ross for the murder of a policeman and his family. Dornan Ross then took over the Gypsy Brothers motorcycle Club, and he and six of his sons brutally raped and abused Juliette who was then only 15 at the time. This is her revenge.!!As the prologue state'sConfucius said,"Before embarking upon a journey of revenge, dig two graves"I planned to dig seven !!!This really says it all. She is out for revenge and this is her story and what a brilliant one it is. Really enjoying re reading these books that keep you on the edge all the way through. You cannot put them down and you can get right into the next one. Amazing !!!!!!

I don't normally read MC books, they tend to be my last choice when it comes to picking my next read. However, I wanted to read something from this author and as I had Seven Sons on my kindle I opened it up and started reading it. I then realised it was MC but carried on as it's a quick read so I had nothing to lose. I am so pleased that I did carry on reading. I loved it! I think the refreshing change from other similar book series is that we have Sammi as lead character and I loved this! What I mean is that we have a strong Sammi out for revenge (and this is in the blurb so no spoilers here) and that was a refreshing change from MC gang members playing the dominant characters. I just wanted a quick read to say I had read a book by this author but I'm now heading straight over to book 2 to find our what happens next.
