It's very difficult to separate the backing - liiiiiiiike almost impossible! But that may be a ME problem (literally took me more than 15 minutes for one of the panels). I'm giving this 5 stars though b/c it looks really nice and was worth the struggle. (Note: I added a film of leaded glass over the blue). I have used other colors of film as well in an earlier installation. Worth noting: the red and the yellow fade into almost clear after a year or so. But the purple stays strongly purple. Hopefully that will be the case with my newer blue and orange too!

I was having trouble sleeping and my therapist suggested I remove the clocks (they really did illuminate the room quite well). Well, that's not practical; I need to know if it's 2:00 AM or time to get up. So I went on a search for red film that I could put over the blue clock lights to dull them down (and yes, I buy clocks with dimmable lights). This worked great. I wish the adhesive was less sticky, because it was hard to get it onto the clock face without bubbles in it, and then it was hard to get it back off to get rid of the bubbles. I had tried static film, but it kept falling off, so this works better, but a little less tackiness would have been nice....or maybe if the film were thicker it would be easier to handle. Anyway, it got the job done, and I was surprised at how different the room looks now in the dark. I can still see what time it is, but the red is nothing like the brightness of the blue or green light of clocks, which bounced off the walls. I also had to put strips of it on my air-filter which has about 5 green lights that are very bright. I wish manufacturers would think about how their products are used and what they will look like in a dark room.

Product is good I purchased green, orange, yellow. The green and orange are fine but the yellow I had to triple layer it to give it yellow color in sunlight. Easy to install

Used these to add color to an all white led display on my motorcycle. Worked perfectly. It was super difficult to peel the backing. Ultimately, I found that using gorilla tape on both side and pulling them apart worked.

Easy to install and is super adhesive, the color came just as described. Great value for the price, and great protection from the sun.

I did everything correctly, when I woke it was on the floor , unusable!! Tried another piece same thing , Not what??? The won’t give my money back , just remember when you go to buy!!😡

Looked great on my truck for bout a month....now few months later..looks like it was never tinted... except around the edges of window thst are protected by sunlight... I bought the yellow color... looked good easy to apply...but absolutely ZERO uv protectant....

Was thick. Had a professional install it. He said it was harder to work with than the thinner stuff.

I needed to say that this product was needed very quickly for a tradeshow setup. Not only did I get it in 7 days the product looks amazing. This is a tradeshow simulation and should not be used in a production welding environment, there are special shades for that.
