Stunning.
This exhibition was marvellous, the skill, imagination and artistry of each country was remarkable, this catalogue represents the exhibition perfectly with excellant photographs of the objects.

A bronze anthology
It is difficult to sum up this wonderful book. It ranges across the world, throughout recorded history, and profoundly illustrates why art matters, and why it can seem eternal. Early work can sit happily beside the latest, and the unifying factor is the material. But it is underscored by a unity of aesthetics. Some of these examples go to the head, some to the heart, but whether you search for the intellectual aspect or the emotional clout that resonates this book, and the extraordinary show it commemorates, is stunning.

Pure alloyed pleasure
This is a book about the startling possibilities in global and historical bronze sculpture. It is a catalog to an exhibition that gathered together the world's bronzes into possibly the greatest single collection ever seen. Consequently, there is much to surprise and delight here. The works are well lit and photographed and the commentaries are insightful and illuminating. The catalog is well thought through and there are no 'over the fold' images. The book is itself a thing of beauty that lives and breathes like the bronzes it depicts.

Fabulous publication
I saw this show at the RA, & thought that the catalogue whilst beautifully produced, was an accompaniment to a wonderful show. How wrong I was, not only is it an accurate record, the publication & layout are fabulous. Well done to all involved!

Beautiful book
This book is highly beautiful with well-detailed photographs and an interesting read. I unfortunately could not make the exhibition and imagine this would be a fantastic accompanying piece to those who were lucky enough to have gone, but this book is satisfying in itself. Highly recommend.

Bronze takes the gold medal
This book accompanies the Royal Academy exhibition. It is a sumptuous production and by browsing the book beforehand I gained so much more from the exhibition. This book is one to treasure.

Gorgeous souvenir of the exhibition
After visiting the Royal Academy Bronze exhibition, I regretted not buying this wonderful book - so was pleased that I could still find it and at a very much cheaper price.A great record of a memorable - possibly once in a lifetime - gathering of the world's most impressive collection of bronze art.
