Not much meat
I recently started working out at Orangetheory and I love it. But, I wanted to understand it all more than the local staff were explaining to me. I was hoping that this book would provide more insight on why the workout "works" and how to get the most out of it, especially as my fitness level starts to improve. Unfortunately, I gained neither from this book. While it was interesting to learn more about Ellen's background and how Orangetheory came to be (the best part of the book), the book isn't much more than a thinly veiled ad for the franchise, including a large section that is meant to encourage readers to perhaps become franchisees themselves. Anything that could have provided real insight is covered at such a superficial level as to be nearly meaningless. Added to that, the writing itself is fairly dull and repetitive. In the end, it was interesting to a point, but I'm glad I paid for the Kindle version instead of the Print version, though I wish it had been available to borrow from my local library. Guess I'll just enjoy the workout and look elsewhere for more information!

What makes Orangetheory work?
Push is part autobiography, part infomercial and part guide. Ellen pulls back the curtain a little on what makes the fastest-growing fitness franchise work and how it relates to everyday life. I’ve been a member for almost two years, and at age 57 am in the best shape of my life. OTF helped me earn a spot on a nationally competitive dragon boat racing team.

Love Orange Theory
Love Orange Theory, have a gym near my house, I go three to four times a week. Got this book for my mom as a christmas present because they are opening a studio by her house. She's one of those people that they want the back story to know what is going on now. Because its working out, i thought that she would do better know the logic behind the workouts. Great book, helped put me in the right mindset when I was fading in my workouts.

Orange theory
This book helped me better understand the orange theory... theory. I am a regular at my local orange theory, and until i read this book I didn't quite have the full picture. I didn't know going over 20 splat points was considered too much, for example. This book has taught me a few things that will help me as I continue in the early days of my journey to get fit.

Great book!
I am an OTF addict, so it was easy to want to read this book. I was pleasantly surprised that it included the science for the physical benefits and the motivation and support for the mental benefits that OTF offers.

The first half was good... could have skipped the second half
I read the book and thought the first half was good because it explained the theory behind Orange Theory. I thought the second half of the book focused too much on her personal journey which isn't why I bought the book. I would have like to have seen more science behind the theory and more references to prove her theory. I am a member of Orange Theory and love the workout and see the results but for someone new more facts would be great.
