Amazing phone for the price
I wanted a back up phone especially one which was android compatible and had NFC technology. My main phone is a Samsung A54 5G which runs on android 14 and has 8GB of RAM suplimented by a 256GB SD card. Just to be clear this AGM H6 rugged phone has 8GB of RAM but you can add up to 512GB. The phone has a bigger screen than my Samsung but it is lighter than I expected which is a bonus. It is waterproof, dust proof and shock proof which I can attest to as my cat knocked it off my kitchen table and thankfully no damage! Given the price I wasn't expecting it to be anywhere near as good as it is. It was very easy to set up with my home WiFi (just input your password) and I am using a sim card I had in the house so am able to make and receive calls/texts without any problems. The best thing for me though is how fast it operates. Android 13 is the previous version to the one on my Samsung phone but this one is just as quick when I browse the internet or use pre loaded apps such as the calculator or google assistant. If you are used to android phones this is a breeze to use. I have uploaded a short video to hopefully demonstrate this. There are 3 card slots, the charge is via USB type C, and there is even a headphone slot which is rare these days. The volume buttons are easy to use and I had no issues hearing calls or listening to music. The NFC technology means I can use the phone to make payments and to attend sports and music events. Face recognition and password options are also available. The camera/ video settings aren't as impressive as more expensive phones, but I am still impressed with them. I took a photo of my cat which I have uploaded and it was decent quality with a few editing options. You get a 50MP primary lens, 8MP front camera, and 2MP macro camera. The 4900 mAh battery provides up to 24 hours of talk time, 22.5 hours of music playback, 7.2 hours of web browsing, and 7.5 hours of video playback on one charge. You receive a charger and this was also compatible with my super fast charger. It didn't take long at all to fully charge. I am really impressed with this phone, so much so I intend to buy one for my Mum who wants to try an android phone. In my opinion for the price you can't go wrong with this. Highly recommended.

disappointing battery life
Bought this to upgrade from my motto defy as it's advertised as durable with the 5000mh battery same as my old defy however real world use is I only get one day use it if this phone but with my defy I could get two days without charging. Also it's a little slow to react to fingerprint unlock over all quite disappointed *Update* dropped phone from a table landed glass side down and shattered never seen so many shards of glass come out of a screen before (and I have broken many screens) seems quite dangerous but I did receive an almost full refund (minus vat) so there is that.....

Decent Android phone
This is a nice, slim, rugged phone. The Android operating system takes a little bit of getting used to if you're an IOS user and persona;;y I'm finding it to be slightly slow, I think that may be down to the 8gb ram? The 256GB rom is a nice feature though, plenty of room for all of the pictures and video you'll take The screen is good quality although I personally find it slightly dull. The 50mp camera is fairly good, but isn't going to blow your socks off. The image quality is fine, but is a little on the cool side. It does have many pro settings though and a nice macro feature. The speakers are pretty naff, so you'll be wanting to use headphones if listening to anything or playing videos etc. The phone is simple to set up and the whole set up process can be completed in a few minutes. All of the Google apps needed updating (as expected) and 14 apps updated in less than a minute, so the wifi on it is certainly quick enough. Threw it in the air, dropped it on the floor, submerged it in water and it's all still working perfectly well so I'm looking forward to taking it on an outdoors holiday in a few months, safe in the knowledge it's likely to survive unscathed. The phone looks nice, and it has a lot of the modern features you'd want such as fingerprint scan, facial recognition etc. It also works as a phone!! :D Good stuff

Huge phone, terrible software, is at least waterproof
I really wanted to like this phone. After a month or two of using it however, I have concluded that it's awful, with few redeeming features. What I wanted was a nice tough small phone that could be taken anywhere and that just worked; an otherwise normal Android phone, but for hiking or trips or travel, since most smartphones will break just by looking at a travel plan. This is still quite a brick of a phone that barely fits in most pockets or containers, and I can tolerate that design in that it is pretty bombproof, but it could be two-thirds the size and work effectively, and that's only the beginning of its problems. The OS software is just plain absymal. None of the functionality is normal for stock Android, and the custom UX is totally counter-intuitive. If you go looking for a setting to modify how Android behaves, like a normal user, this phone won't even have the setting. Not even in developer options. It is riddled with stupid sounds that can't be turned off. Nothing really explains why AGM felt the need to Fisher Price dumb down the user interface. There's no money to be saved in a budget phone by reducing the settings available. I'm not sure what target market this is aimed at, that will benefit from an OS that is made harder to navigate and harder to customise. The camera is pretty terrible as reviews did indicate (nearly all shots are grainy or blurry), but I didn't get it for taking pictures, and the overall responsiveness of the phone is slow, but it's a budget phone, this at least I can expect. Not really a travel phone, in my opinion.

Very disappointed with new phone
This phone is not working. I need to return it. i could nt transfer data from my old phone and took it to a local IT Business in Bandon who informed me that there is a fault with the mother board. How do I go about returning?

One of the most interesting rugged smartphones
I have seen over the time a lot of rugged smartphones and to my surprise I didn't even expect for this one to be so slim and lightweight but at the same time very durable considering that it has protection all over. I like the fact that it runs on Android 13 which indicates the fact that I don't have to update anything anytime soon and the combination of RAM memory plus internal storage which can be expanded for me is more than enough. Well definitely recommend to anyone is the activate virtual ram because the performance of the phone increases when it has all 16gb ram and based on the test that I have made so far, therefore performs really well and it is easy to swap in between apps, it has a crisp display which allows me to watch the videos properly and a decent sound quality(nothing major to mention about this). What really stands out when it comes to this phone is the build in quality and indeed it is lightweight, slim and at the same time very solid and I know this because it happened a couple of times to drop it and I didn't see anything major happening to it besides minor scuffs which were inevitable. What I would consider to be an advantage when it comes to this phone, would be to support 5G because this one only has 4G so the internet is not the fastest but personally this doesn't disturb me that much because I use this phone to make everything phone calls. The battery lasts for around one day because when I get back home in the evening I have to charge it but I have to mention that I am using it quite a lot during the day so overall I am satisfied with the performance of it. Overall this is a great fun with good performance and also as I have mentioned before, well built and lightweight.

Average for the price
The build quality is great. Compared to most modern phones, this doesn't feel as delicate - it feels quite tough, while still being lightweight, and I wouldn't be as worried about dropping this and damaging it. Each of the ports are covered up which protects them from all sorts of damage, e.g. water. At just over 6.5 inches, the screen is quite large. The quality is good - bright and clear. Camera is decent - has good quality photos and videos. Battery life is actually pretty good, but this varies based on the usage throughout the day. If you're someone who only uses the phone occasionally to send messages, take calls and emails etc, then this will last for a couple days on a single charge. However, the phone doesn't feel as quick or responsive compared to the types of phones I've used. It claims to be 16GB RAM, but this is only 8GB physical and 8GB virtual RAM (which uses internal storage as extra RAM). When several apps are running in the background, it slows down and the virtual ram doesn't seem to be very useful here. At a current price of ยฃ229.98 at the time of this review, this is a mid-ranged phone for the specs. However, I think it is quite costly for a non-household name. Overall, I wouldn't use this as my main phone. If I was to go abroad or need a spare for whatever reason, this would be a good stand-in option.

A Lightweight Heavyweight
The interesting thing about this phone is that it is marketed as both 'lightweight and rugged' and in these words you understand the essence of this phone. It is not as thin or as lightweight as most smartphones, but it is also more sturdy and waterproof whilst being considerably lighter than the really heavy duty models and, as such, it is worth considering if you are working in building/construction or if you do a lot of intensive hiking or outdoors stuff. Still, this is not just a rugged phone it offers a lot of other positives including fingerprint recognition which works efficiently and a lack of preloaded apps which I find an especially welcome change from many more famous marques. The camera is perfectly acceptable although images are not razor sharp, but all the usual modes are available and all work well except the night setting which offers little assistance. We are looking at a 4G phone here powered by Android 13 so you are not getting the very latest spec, but having said this the 8 RAM capacity works perfectly well for general use such as surfing, buying and photos-my only observation would be if you view lots of videos then you may find it a little bit slow going. Memory is a decent 256 GB which can be doubled with a micro SD card. The phone looks good and has a really long battery life although charging it is slow by the standards of the market leaders. In short, a lot of unlocked phone for your money with the benefits of a sturdy design and flexibility in both SIM card and in adding memory if you need to store a lot of material.
