Decent costume prop
We bought this to use for a vampire hunter Halloween costume. The garlic are separated by clear plastic tube bits, with a string running through the whole thing. That made it exceptionally easy to resize. It was a good, cheap prop.

It Served Its Purpose, BUT it's VERY EXPENSIVE for What It Is
Bought two of these as a gag for a sibling who has become allergic to garlic (I can't imagine life without garlic), AND while funny to wear while meeting her at the airport, these are really rather expensive for a strand of fake garlic and some fishing line and bits of plastic in-between each fake garlic bulb. BUT, if you are doing something that requires this, then there are VERY FEW options. These are sold out of the UK (where apparently the "stinky Frenchmen" costume is a fancy dress costume-wild), and there are VERY FEW places to get these... So, for the cost and average quality, they are OK.

Vampire proof
I only wore this once, but in that time I was not bitten by a vampire. Proof indeed that this product will save your life (at least from being taken by vampire, not sure it was stop a training smashing into you at 100mph or a fall from a tall building).

Light as air!
This was a huge hit at The Lost Boys 20th Anniversary showing! I ended up taking one or two off the string so that it would be comfortable around the back of the neck.

Garlic garland
In order for the thing to be useable, it has to be able to fit anyone. That means it has to be big. I'm using it as a Halloween prop, but it could work equally as well as a costume accessory. If you find it too large for your purposes, take it apart and re-string it.

Realistic and tough.
