Great for creative engineering where things need to be held tightly in place
Exactly what I needed. I used it to keep 2 HVAC ducts held together. My 120 yr old house has a lot of places where old things have been rigged to connect to newer things. One of the old ducts was poorly connected to a newer one. When we took it apart to retrieve something that fell into a vent, the 5 pieces they used to connect it, refused to go back together and stay properly connected. I cut some 6" sections of this and used it to make custom brackets to hold everything together. Instead of trying to keep 5 pieces from shifting I only had to hold 1 piece, run some screws into it and then repeat with the next piece. The next time it needs to come apart it will be much easier to disconnect, retrieve whatever fell down it and reconnect it. It was cheapest and strongest way to do this without having to replace a ton of duct work. It went together so easy and holds everything together so well. It's versatile for a wide range of "creative engineering" applications.

Nice product...
I used this strap to secure a water heater expansion tank, after the plastic strap that the plumber used broke. This galvanized strap worked great. It cut easily and formed around the tank like a glove. Speaking of gloves, a set was included with the strap, to help protect your hands I suppose. Although, I didn't have any trouble handling the metal with my bare hands.
