HP M476dw LaserJet Pro MFP colour Printer

Firstly, I know virtually nothing about printers, so please bear this in mind for all that follows.Secondly, subsequent to ordering this item from the supplier, there was a bit of a problem re delivery. Amazon informed me they had not received dispatch details, so I contacted the supplier to find out what had happened. I received a very prompt reply from the supplier with profuse apologies, and the printer itself arrived the next day - and more importantly, in time for Christmas. So top marks all around.Anyway, the recipient of the item has told me this machine is by far the best printer he has ever owned - and he has owned quite a few over the years I understand.I have been further told the printer was exceptionally easy to set up on a new iMac, and he had it up and working in minutes - literally!The recipient told me he has always used Epson printers and scanners, but he had finally had enough of them - whatever this means? Apparently, he had previously acquired a very reasonably priced Canon printer for his daughter, and had been amazed by the results.The recipient related the printer is very heavy and has quite a large "footprint", but he further related how surprised he was all the features worked so well running "El Capitan" - whatever this is?Anyway, all I can do is to relate a positive review for this item as all I have heard is positive comments and much glee.

Brilliant printer - very easy to configure and install - the scanning works perfectly. The features this printer offers are amazing value - and I would highly recommend. Toner replacements are a bit pricey though... but you get what you pay for.

Amazingly quick customer service - outstanding delivery times and very east set up. Very impressed.

It's OK. Some issues getting it registered to print from anywhere in the world. I would've thought the photo print quilite would have been better also. Other than that it's pretty easy to set up and print from any device on the network.

Safely packaged, promptly delivered, fulling working straight away, good price.

Having used it for a couple of months it works pretty good.Plus:Easy to setup on my Mac and share with iPad devices.Love the scanning feature - that has been well used and works a treat.Print quality is better than I hoped - colour pictures look good.Minus:I find the printing slow - it keeps stopping to cool down.We had to print 100 plus cards which took the whole night as we had to feed in one at a time.

Does what it needs to do

Got this to replace a MFP Inkjet - finally got tired of all the head cleaning / ink mess. Really happy with the purchase. Print quality is great. Don't expect this to be good at photos - it isn't a photo printer. Understand that and there is nothing to complain about.Scanning/Photocopy feature scans both sides of the page at once which is a nice touch - no more feeding/flipping pages - set the bundle of papers in the feeder, doublesided copy and hit go :)
