Man is bad. Man sell guns. Man get kidnapped. Build suit. Escape. Iron man. Fighty. Flying. Gwyneth. Humour.It all started here. (well it didn't but, whatever).You've seen this. It was on the telly. Shush. I'm recording it even though I have it on bluray. Well it IS Christmas.

Marvel had produced many films before Iron Man with varying degrees of success. Just like doing a bit of DIY, sometimes they managed to bend the nail, but with Iron Man they hit it squarely on the head.Kicking off the film with a incredible opening sequence, viewers get to see action from the start and let the story unfold from there. The billionaire playboy, Tony Stark gets a rude awakening when he is attacked by the very weapons he created. Using his genious however, he comes to understand that he has the power to begin to fight those whom attacked him.By the end of this action packed, story driven masterpiece, you are left wanting to see more, not just of Robert Downey Junior but also of what Marvel can do. Iron Man is the beginning of the much larger story that is the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)

This is how it all began. Iron Man was the first movie based on a Marvel superhero actually produced by Marvel, and as such was the first instalment of the rapidly expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe. Iron Man was perhaps a strange choice as outside comic book geekdom he probably wasn’t the best known superhero – certainly not universally known like Superman, Batman and Spider-Man – but that didn’t stop director Jon Favreau forging a brilliant movie that catapulted the character to international fame and set Marvel’s ball well and truly rolling.Iron Man is by no means a perfect film (I would have preferred to see more set pieces with the Mark III armour, and it does end with a fairly predictable mano-a-mano bash-up between Stark and his nemesis), but the flaws are outweighed by all the good stuff. The decision to cast Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark was inspired; his charismatic, witty performance is a joy to watch and he really makes you believe that he could invent all this implausible technology. The scenes showing Stark developing the suits are brilliant and often hilarious. The supporting cast is also superb; the banter between Downey and Gwyneth Paltrow is marvellous, and Jeff Bridges is a seriously imposing presence as Stark’s father figure-cum-opponent. Terrence Howard is also fine as James Rhodes though I prefer the Don Cheadle interpretation of the character in later movies.However the real stars of the show are the brilliantly realised suits. Stan Winston’s team did a truly remarkable job creating beautiful, practical suits, which are supplemented by almost flawless visual effects work. A few more scenes with Iron Man in action and a more inventive finale would have made this a five-star classic, but it’s still damn good fun.Technically the blu ray release is superb: picture quality is almost flawless, though as often seems to be the case with Paramount releases I found myself having to turn the volume up more than usual.If you’re going to get this movie on BD you have to seek out the 2-disc Ultimate Edition. Sadly this is no longer being made so you’ll have to look on eBay or find a private seller on Amazon, but the difference between it and the 1-disc version currently available is like night and day. On disc 1 you get a 40-minute history of Iron Man, deleted scenes and the rather pointless interactive ‘Hall of Armour’, while disc 2 features a brilliant in-depth ‘making of’, a VFX documentary, Downey’s screentests, storyboards and galleries. Although I’d give the movie itself 4 stars, the extent and quality of the bonus features easily bump this set up to the full five.

First and best film of the saga, this Iron Man is truly a refreshing new piece in the world of marvel films.Maybe due to the background of the director as a comedian and to the presence itself of Robert Downey, this film has a certain brilliant side that reminds a lot of screwball comedies, that surprisingly naturally cohabits with the action side.The result is a curious and smart mix of genres and an interesting visual look, that switches from classic 50ies style to almost live action and documentarian moments (the first scene when the Iron man reveals coming out of the cave in the desert) to videogame-hitech scenes.The duet between Downey and Paltrow is brilliantly conducted and focuses on a constant romantic and sexual unresolved tension (as in the best Wilder and Hawks old comedies), while Jeff Bridges is quite believable in the role of the villain.The blu ray is definitely good.Surely one of the best comis heroes based films

After watching the more recent Marvel movies, and really enjoying them, we decided to go back and watch this one. It is entertaining, although very 'americanised', ie very simple, flat dialogue. But also was surprised at the portrayal of the women characters in the movie. Not too pleased about that, and its even from 2008. Shocking. Does fill in some Marvel history for the later films. So, ok to watch, even if cringeworthy in some bits.

With fabulous actors doing this movie and the story is marvellous with that, How the world can you go wrong. I found this to be very interesting and different and something that makes you wonder can this really happen. When my earlier years I could buy the comic books of superman, Phantom and all the others but never had the interest until just the last few years that has had me sit up and take notice. The impossible is still impossible but you never know what's around the corner do we. Captured and using his only talent as a genius to escape, he builds a suit of armour and becomes our hero. I have missed out on a few things but I'm taking a short cut as I have more reviews to do, I rated this an A grade plus for full on action and adventure that has you marvelling at what he can do and we can't. Hurry now as you wont want to miss out on this as it will have you glued to the chair, relaxing with your popcorn in one hand and a drink in the other don't forget to put your feet up. Enjoy!

『アイアンマン』はテレビ放送で何度も見たが、ようやく購入するに至った。公開は2008年だが、製作は2006年からスタートってのが興味深い。トニー・スタークを演じるロバート・ダウニー・Ｊｒはプライベートでのおクスリ問題でドラマ降板したり干されてメジャー作品から遠ざかっていた時期であり、マーベル側は相当難色を示したという。結果的にマーベル側の心配は杞憂に終わり、トニー・スタークと言えばロバート・ダウニー・Ｊｒ以外考えられなくなった昨今。来年公開の『アベンジャーズ４』をもっての降板も囁かれるなど、色々慌ただしくなっています。オリジンらしく前半はトニーがテロリストに拉致されたりしてアイアンマンになるまで、後半がヴィランとの対決になる。正直、ヴィランがなんでお前なんだよって雑魚キャラで意外性がない。初見では死んだと思っていたあの人がラスボスに違いないと深読みしたくらいだから余計にがっかり。金持ちで天才発明家で最高の女たらし、傲慢で鼻持ちならない性格だった頃のトニーが見れるのは嬉しい。ローディの｢次は一緒に行くか｣は中の人の降板で永遠に無理になった。戦略国土調停補強配備局なる組織のコールソン捜査官、まだちょい役だがＭＣＵフェーズ１通して重要な役割を果たす。テレビ放送で何故かカットされるポストエンディング、あの人が登場してトニーを『アベンジャーズ』計画に引き入れるところで幕引き。

Kein aalglatter Held mit Superkräften sondern Jemand, der sich bis zu einem gewissen Zeitpunkt in seinem Leben nur um sich gekümmert hat.Der Egozentriker Tony Stark verdient durch seinen Verstand und einem bekannten Namen reichlich Geld mit der Entwicklung von Militärwaffen und steht auf Platz 1 der Beliebtheitsskala bei den Waffenlobbyisten bis er selber von seiner neuesten Waffen schwer verwundet und nur knapp von seinen Entführern gerettet wird. Mit Hilfe eines Mitgefangenen gelingt ihm die Flucht. Er möchte nun herausfinden wie die Entführer in den Besitz seiner Waffen gekommen sind. Dabei findet er heraus was sein Mitwirken bei der Verbesserung von Waffen für Folgen nach sich gezogen hat und dass seine Feinde näher an ihm dran sind, als er denkt.Von allen Marvel-Filmen in den letzten Jahren immer noch mein Lieblingsfilm mit besonderem Nostalgiefaktor besonders nach Endgame.

Envío perfecto y antes de tiempo.Nos encontramos ante la primera película de Iron Man y la primera que iniciaba este actual y enorme Universo Cinematográfico de Marvel. Pasando a hablar sobre el producto en sí, el Blu-Ray incluye un solo disco en el que tenemos acceso a la película en tres idiomas diferentes: inglés, castellano y catalán y opción a subtítulos a los dos primeros lenguajes mencionados.El disco incluye también contenido extra algo escaso lo cuál deja mi valoración en 4 estrellas. Tenemos acceso a una galería de fotografías sobre los distintos tipos de armadura que aparecen en la película. Eso sí, los textos sobre las curiosidades están en inglés. Como segundo añadido, nos encontramos un trivial no muy interesante que nos hará pasar unos pocos minutos amenos y entretenidos. Se nos harán varias preguntas sobre el superhéroe y se nos irá otorgando una cierta cantidad de puntos dependiendo de nuestros aciertos y errores. El tercer contenido extra son varios reportajes que nos muestran la historia de Iron Man en el cómic. Un repaso a su trayectoría desde su origen hasta la fecha de lanzamiento de la película: 2008. Por último, se nos ofrecen un par de escenas eliminadas/extendidas sobre la cinta. Mencionar que hay un buen par de ellas y que, por lo tanto, nos tendrán ocupados un buen rato.En conclusión, una película impresionante y que marca el inicio del universo cinematográfico de una de las compañías de superhéroes más importantes de todos los tiempos. Solo reprocharle su escaso y poco interesante contenido extra. Sin duda, hubiera preferido algunas tomas falsas. Una pena que no las hayan incluido.

Also über den Film muss man garnicht reden einfach nur ein Hammer Film, kann ich jedem weiter empfehlen. Die cd kommt in einem perfekten Zustand an, ist auch noch mit einer Plastik Folie umhüllt. Man sieht es ist ganz neu und wurde noch nie ausgepackt. Also ich persönlich bin sowieso ein Marvel Fan und sammle alle Marvel Filme und die Blu-Ray Version ist dafür am geeignetsten, denn ein Steelbook sieht zwar optisch vielleicht schöner aus, ist dem entsprechend aber auch viel teurer. Ich persönlich würde jetzt auch nicht so viel Geld für einen Film ausgeben den man auch irgendwann oder auch jetzt schon auf Netflix usw. sehen kann.

Bonjour.....car je suis énervé.. je vous ai acheté 2 iron man Blu-ray.. je fais très attention à mes Blu-ray et pourtant les 2 iron man ont le même problème.. 1 lecture et fini..j’ai payé pour un loisir et je me retrouve avec deux Blu-ray mort...Expliquez moi...j’attends un retour!Cordialement !

Ottimo dvd in un'ottima edizione. Il menù è fatto veramente bene, peccato però che ci siano pochi contenuti speciali, mi sarebbe piaciuto vedere il backstage o gli errori. Inoltre il dvd è arrivato in condizioni perfette e nel tempo stimato.Non penso ci sia bisogno di parlare di trama o del film in sé, in quanto penso sia noto quanto questo sia fantastico, in caso contrario, solo guardandolo vi renderete conto di quanto sia bello... regia, effetti speciali, recitazione... tutto perfetto. E a proposito di quest'ultima, abbiamo il grande Robert Downey Jr. nei panni di uno degli eroi marvel più amati di sempre!Se amate i film marvel, ma anche in caso contrario, fa per voi. Consigliatissimo!

Nach Spiderman,den X-Men sowie Hulk nun also der nächste Superheld aus dem riesigen Marvel-Universum.Und was für einer!Ähnlich wie sein Pendant von DC "Batman" ist auch Iron Man nur ein ganz stinkreicher Schnösel namens Tony Stark (brilliant Robert Downey Jr.),welcher sich auf die Herstellung von Waffen spezialisiert hat.Nachdem er aber in Afghanistan das Ausmaß seiner eigenen Waffen an der unschuldigen Zivilbevölkerung sieht,entschließt er für den Frieden zu kämpfen und konstruiert eine undurchdringliche Rüstung,mit er nicht nur hübsch fliegen,sondern auch kräftig austeilen kann.Neben den Hauptdarsteller Robert Downey Jr. sind auch die anderen Schauspieler nicht zu verachten : Da hätten wir Gwyneth Paltrow als Starks Sekretärin Pepper Potts,Terrence Howard als seinen Buddy Jim Rhodes sowie den Fiesling Jeff Bridges,mit welchem er sich am Ende des Film ein packendes Finale liefert.Bombastischer Film mit einem weitaus besserem Helden als den Hulk oder den X-Men.Bin schon echt gespannt,wie Teil 3 wird,aber vorher hole ich mir noch den 2.Teil ;-)Meine Empfehlung : Ein Muss für jeden Marvel-Fan!!!

Il personaggio di Iron man alias Tony Stark non ha di certo bisogno di presentazioni, questo è il primo capitolo di quella che al momento è una trilogia sul personaggio, che poi prende parte anche nei film dedicati agli avengersil film rievoca la storia dei fumetti sul perchè tony diventa il noto iron man.interpretazione geniale a dir poco di Robert, che a mio parere riesce ad essere il Toni Stark perfetto.il bluray è di ottima qualità, la confezioni si presenta co all'interno della custodia bluray il solo disco del film

Trasformare qualcosa di visuale ed epico quali sono i fumetti di Iron Man in un film non è certo facile, più di qualcuna delle trasposizioni cinematografiche dei fumetti degli ultimi anni ha deluso chi ha letto i fumetti da ragazzino.In questo caso la passione mostrata dal regista (che appare nella parte di Happy Hogan, l'autista di Stark) la capacità di costruire una sceneggiatura credibile e non banale e soprattutto la performance di Robert Downey Jr., riescono a creare un film dove gli effetti speciali sono un accessorio alla storia e non la storia.Da vedere.Una nota sul casting di Robert Downey Jr.: per chi come me da ragazzina ha letto i fumetti (la fortuna di avere tanti cugini maschietti permetteva anche a noi ragazze di leggere i fumetti marvel), Downey ha in comune con il Tony Stark dei fumetti solo il fatto di avere i capelli bruni, Tony stark è alto, con gli occhi azzurri, ben piantato, ha il "phisique du role", eppure, sorprendentemente, Downey è perfettamente credibile come Tony Stark e questo mostra ancora una volta come un attore vero possa trasformarsi in chi vuole e regalarci un film che vale la pena acquistare in Blu Ray.Per chi come me è un fan dell'ascolto in lingua originale, una chicca in più è Robert Bettany che da voce a Jarvis, la IA very "british butler" style che è l'alter ego elettronico di Tony Stark.Relativamente alle caratteristiche tecniche del prodotto blu ray, è completo, e per gli appassionati Marvel ci sono un paio d'ore abbondanti in cui tutti i maggiori disegnatori e scrittori che hanno creato i fumetti di Iron Man discutono ampiamente del personaggio, delle storie, dei fumetti.La galleria delle armature ovviamente è bellissima e immagine e suono sono ottimi, anche se non sono in grado di dare valutazioni tecniche da esperto.Acquistato su Amazon e consegnato velocemente come sempre.Aggiungo una postilla oggi 27/2/2015 perché ho finalmente trovato la versione Blu ray 2 dischi di Iron Man praticamente introvabile in precedenza, il secondo Blu ray vale la spesa pertanto se ne avete l'occasione e siete appassionati e volete godervi proprio tutti i dietro le quinte, anche quelli che non ci sono su You Tube, vale la pena cercarlo e acquistarlo.

Davvero ben fatta una steelbook in rilievo che fa davvero figura, ottima.Il film ovviamente è tra più belli della marvel fin'ora forse anche per l'ottima interpretazione di robert downey jr.Se volete collezionare i film marvel questa la dovete assolutamente prendere.Amazon preciso e puntuale come sempre

Il primo capitolo cinematografico del mitico Iron Man, film che apre la serie dell'MCU. Pellicola molto divertente e Robert Downey Jr in ottima forma. Ottima la qualità video, per l'audio italiano abbiamo il solito Dolby Digital 5.1 mentre per la lingua inglese un Dolby True HD 5.1.Tra i contenuti speciali si segnalano:- Salone delle armature;- Iron Man l'invincibile (HD);- Scene estese ed eliminate (HD);- Sezione interattiva...

La calidad de la película es espectacular. Lo que veo pobre son los extras, casi ni existen. Para quienes quieran sólo la peli, la recomiendo. Para quienes quieran una edición más completa, ni de coña.

Il primo film di Iron Man é eccezionale...dal buon ritmo,ironia a palate,ottimi interpreti ed effetti speciali strabilianti...nulla da dire...ma il prodotto in questione nn vale i suoi 11 euro ed oltre...edizione scarna e con pochi contenuti extra...meglio buttarsi sull'altra edizione da 9 euro...prezzo eccessivo in ogni caso...si tratta di un film del 2008 ed altrove lo si trova a meno di 7 euro...forse ci marciano sul fatto che siano cinefumetti Marvel apprezzatissimi dai fan...le 4 stelle sn per questo motivo...spedizione velocissima come sempre.

Il film penso lo conoscano tutti, Fantastico!La confezione pagata pochissimo (offerta 4 Blu-ray 30€) contiente il Blu-ray con il film ed anche degli extra ma come da foto in allegato quello che mi ha stupito è che il disco no ha nessun immagine stampata sopra, questo sia per Iron Man 1 che 2 che 3.Comunque è un ottimo acquisto per chi vuole avere il film in Blu-ray alla massima qualità da vedere e non solo per collezionare cofanetti.
