This product, after a summers worth of research, was the best suited for my son’s needs. We have a wide open courtyard with a flagstone walkway that had nothing to hold onto. My son is a new amputee and with winter approaching, I bought the 72” portable ramp with grab handles on each end. That is what sold me on this! It gave him an extra 20” or so to hold onto leaving ramp and a good solid grasp entering, feeling stable and secure. He can come and go without fear of falling and especially with snow and ice. I didn’t have time to research when he was released faster than anticipated, but we bought a used ramp in the emergency situation. We will now add grab handles on that one to match the new one for safety measures. I highly recommend this ramp. We even put black garage fatigue mats under to keep it from shifting on the flagstones. I will sleep better knowing he won’t fall. Win-win and worth the money!

Use between the utility room and garage for my electric wheelchair. Very sturdy, arms fit well. Very comfortable with my purchase.

What you see wasn't easy to get there --However let me warn you the packaging sucks plus the delivery didn't help any -was terrible. The frame and walking planks got beat up. I had to straighten/bend re shape in order to assemble. Some of the holes didn't align needed to be bored out for carriage bolts to work. The rails look good but are wobbly Get some self tappers to secure the top flat piece that runs along the entire length on either side of the walk area. Channel locks were used to squeeze the bushing in order to slide into female end. This isn't the easiest to do some skill ,common sense required plus tools. If you're going to use this for pushing someone in a wheel chair on it then yes it will do. I also used 1/4" x 2 1/4" Tapcons to anchor both side's of the ramp to secure it from movement. GOOD LUCK

Very helpful for 86 y/o mom … made modifications to use in door (put 4x4)…rails wobble some and ramps are loud when walking on, but that is good to me so I can here if she is going out :)

East to assemble and install. Nice sturdy ramp

Nice looking ramp and is now much better and safer after $160.00- and two-hours labor to modify the problems with the ramp. 1. Ramp should have a tighter fit for ramp panels into each sidetrack, (a lot of movement and noise while walking on it). 2. Side Rails not very sturdy, (lots of side-to-side movement while using them). After modifications everything is much tighter, and my Wife is Happer and feels safer using it. I still don’t think it will hold 1000 lb. they say it will hold. But fixing the two items above this would be a very good ramp.

Shipping fees were $ 200.00. Product arrived late and with minor damage. Packaging of product was very inadequate. Finish work of product was poor.
