Solid Build
My Michelin pump failed again, so replaced with this, hoping that metal build quality might last longer. The guage is inaccurate & hose not v long, so put the Michelin ones on instead which was a straight swap. The cylinders are not very big, so takes a long time to pump a tyre up.Seems quite robust so far after 6mthsI would say the Michelin is a better pump, but sadly not reliable

Rubbish!
The first time of using to inflate my motor cycle tyre!(From 30psi to 36psi)the gauge went up to 34psi when the side plates of the pump collapsed! bending everything out of shape making the pump unusable!Rubbish product Would not recomend!!

Disappointing
There's so much internal friction in this pump, half of your effort goes into overcoming that.Because it's double barrel, it requires twice the force- fair enough and makes sense. But for some reason it feels like 4x the friction.Don't bother with this pump, a regular single inflates just as quickly as you pump twice as fast.

Awful
What can I say? When I took the item from it`s packaging it appeared to be flimsy for a "professional" piece of equipment but since it was a Sealey product I had the notion of quality and robustness, although the metalwork was light guage it would be made of better grade material. How wrong I was!The inner side frame (which was only about 1mm thick) buckled in no time. Also the pressure guage was miles out. Admittedly it was not being used on a surface that was perfectly level and flat but I`d used my old (RAC) pump in more adverse conditions over it`s 7 year life without any problems.Contacted the seller who informed me that because the item was "used" they would only provide a partial refund. In the absence of a proper returns label, I returned the Item to the seller at my own expense. As yet, haven`t received a penny.Went out and bought a Michelin footpump locally and I have to say that even though it was a few pounds more expensive, is a quantum leap in Quality and robustness. Perhaps should have bought locally in the first place!I have hitherto had the notion that the Sealey brand was good, given that they supply the trade. If that holds true, this product is certainly their Achilles heel!

Unreliable pump
pumped up three tyres over a period of about 15 months and the pump would not stay fixed to valve after that so binned it. Screw on one from Michelin works a lot better.

Very Poor Quality
Bought this thinking that being a Sealey product it might be a bit better quality than some of the other footpumps on offer - wrong!, during first use to inflate bicycle tyres the side frame, which is formed from very thin pressed steel, bent. I returned the product (at considerable expense) for a refund which was dealt with promptly and efficiently. I'd rather have paid Β£40 for a pump that would actually last rather than Β£20 for something so poorly made, however it seems thre is no such thing as a decent quality footpump to be had.
