bought this phone holder and was pleasantly surprised. It is super practical and stable; it doesn't wobble like others I've tried. I love that the arm is flexible yet firm, allowing me to adjust it exactly how I need it whether for watching videos, making video calls, or even recording content. It feels high quality and is easy to install. It is definitely one of those products you end up using every day without even realizing it. I highly recommend it it's excellent.

This LISEN gooseneck phone holder is way sturdier than I expected. The clamp grips securely to my desk without slipping, and once you position your phone, it stays put, no slow sagging or flopping around like cheaper stands. The flexibility is just right: easy enough to adjust, but firm enough to hold its shape. I can position my phone exactly where I want it for watching videos, reading, or hands-free use, and it doesn’t drift over time. Build quality feels solid and well thought out, not flimsy or plastic-cheap. Overall, the functionality is excellent and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do, comfortably and reliably. If you’re looking for a phone holder that’s sturdy, adjustable, and genuinely useful for bed or desk use, this one’s a winner. Highly recommend.

Title sums it up but to expand on the build quality - I've been using this to scan trading cards with my phone. The arm is solid and doesn't wiggle. When you need to adjust position you can just move the phone and the arm gives way perfectly for the move and stays where you put it. As far as positioning goes it's got a good reach of about 2'. It hasn't gotten in my way at all so slipping cards in and out of the camera view has been easy. The arm slips into the clamp easily and I haven't tightened it into the clamp at all. This allows me to pull the arm off my desk without having to unscrew anything. Very convenient. The post for the arm/clamp connection is about 1.5" long and 1'2" in diameter. Plenty strong for my iPhone 13 pro. The arm doesn't sag when you put your phone in. The only downside is on me for not thinking through how I'd be using this. I need to see my phone screen while using this so I had to get a little creative and not put my phone in all the way. Hard to explain but it was being held at the top and the bottom was hanging past the base of the clamp and this thing held fine. The phone clamp is VERY tight and releases with a click. I was using an iPhone 13 Pro so should be safe for most phones, I think mine is on the larger side and I didn't even use the expandable bottom grip. The clamp in the video does have a bottom soft clamp. It fell off before I recorded =). It screwed right back on. My bad.

I had to update this review... good news. At first, I did not like this item at all. Let me just say, I was maybe harsh but the unit was way to big, difficult to setup and had limited ability in it's mounting movement functionality. I did have a spring fly off while I was trying to adjust my 1st unit. But Lisen's customer service came to my aid and offered an upgraded model of this product. Therefore this updated review. UPDATE: 1/19/25 When I first bought this product, I was looking for something to hold my phone near my face while working at the computer. Having it come in from the left or right like microphone is what I needed. After my review Lisen contacted me and offered to send a new improved unit. It's much easier to operate. I believe it is a lot shorter which is much better. Since I returned the previous model, I do not have it to compare to. But it seems they added some movement functionality on the phone holder. Now it will easily work from either side. It still has the old school springs but these seem smaller and more stable. Now I like how the phone fits into the holder and the 3 point movement in the end of the arm and ball joint of the holder. That seems to be way better now. As I recall I did not like the desk clamp last time either. This also appears to have better set up ability with 2 places to mount the arm. It will easily attach to most square edged flat ended desks. Maybe about 2 1/4 inches of width capacity in the clamp. I made some photos so you can see it in action. I like being about to pull and push it back and forth like a mic. Just know it will take a moment to get used to and you’ll want to be careful how far you open or close it to be sure you do not pinch wires or yourself. Try not to over extend the springs. They seem much better, however. Once you have it set up the way you like, you shouldn’t need to do much adjusting if you’re using it for a similar application. They also include wire holders so you can put a charging wire up the ar. I mounted mine on top just because. So, yeah. I like this product now. I use speaker phone a lot and having this product hold the phone at the right place close to my mouth is great. If you're looking for something like this, it's worth testing it out.
